If the one you are trying to is the administrator account, you CAN NOT it. If it is not the admin account, make sure you are not logged in under the account you are trying to as you can not an account that is actively running. This may have something to do with the screen resolution the skin was designed under. In other words, if the skinner was using 1024x768, then maybe the skins compact menu will only be displayed correctly under 1024x768. Using another resolution may expand the start menu. (just a guess). Try changing your res. If that doesn't work, you can manually change the size of the User pane in skin studio. This will compact the right and left planes (prog list and places list). or it could be your video resolution. Try a different resolution. Another possibility is the sizing or content margins of the srart button icons and task bar. A few additional pieces of info might help pinpoint the problem. 1. what skin are you using? 2. what is your video resolution? 3. can you put a screenshot of the problem in your profile for us to see?

Travis the Crazy - I have to laugh, cause I know how it feels. I have had some really wird thing happen on my PC also. Missing files, missing directories etc. On time I booted up to find NOTHING. I have reinstalled windows and re-formatted countless times. I now have three main drives D, D with a subdrive D, and copy of D. All three have windows directories. If that message is for real, if I were you I would use system restore and revert back to a previous time before re-booting. You might reboot and get absolutly nothing.

Are you sure you're right clicking on the CD icon? It could be anything, but usually drive d or e. You dont want the hard drive icon, you want the CD icon.
