Hey this is pretty neat! (Sins making it as one of the top games of '08 that is). SoaSE was even on the first page. :CONGRAT: On a side note, I'm glad to see that the forum posts can still degenerate as rapidly as when I was last on. Keep up the good work fellow beta testers! :D
ScourgeOfGod
"We're out of Beta and releasing on time" I'm hoping that will describe this game in 51 days. :D
Besides, the flak's pretty weak against ships as it is and as the ball of flak expands out, less wil hit any ship it happens to run into and pretty soon only like one or two pieces of shrapnel are hitting another ship and that wouldn't cause damage in theory.
Capitalist pigs are tasty...END CANNIBAL PERSECUTION!
Schod does have a point. There is a kind of anti-success culture among many poor people. They develop this because being poor they don't have the advantages of the rich or middle class and thus rising up to become rich or middle class is significantly harder. Poor people aren't stupider than middle class/rich people but they aren't smarter either. This means that since they face higher obstacles but aren't correspondingly better able to overcome these obstacles, fewer succeed in doing so. After
You can't even say the reviewer gave bad review! Everyone apparently scored K&L pretty low. I probably wouldn't have bought the game anyways but now I'm probably going to avoid all Eidos games from now on.
On an unrelated note, I read through the education section on Germany, and college there costs only 50-500 euros per semester! That would be about 75-750 dollars (given the current weakness of the dollar)! Very few families in the US would have a hard time with $1,500 a year college costs. Why can't the US have that? Oh yea, I forgot, we have to spend our money blowing crap up in Iraq and giving out pork barrel crap so we can't afford to do that. Silly me.
Thanks Ron! Watching now. :)
I might sound stupid for saying this but, once I download it, where do I save the replay so I can actually watch it?
you know what sucks? the swastika shape is inherently (not explicitly) cool, I find its design attractive. its radially symmetric, it can be curvy or angular, it has almost a motion like feel to it. I DESPISE the fact that the swastika has been tied down to genocide and despotism. I feel like I'm promoting racism whenever a swastika appears in a small doodle. its so REDICULOUS that people can attatch so much disgusting meaning to a shape! frankly the world of histor
This game does not have the in depth storyline of my Pirates v. Ninjas...but since I didn't copyright it I'll have to name my ninja v. pirates game something different. Oh I know! Revenge of the Pirate, on NINJAS!
who WOULDNT want to be fired from gamespot? Someone with a healthy desire for cash?
Schod?
Well your what? 16 right? In two years you can sign whatever document you want. Besides, there does need to be some limit to when you can sue for a contract with a minor. I mean think about how easy it would be to get the average 12 year old to sign their life away for a meager exchange. Since everything else except driving and drinking/gambling you can start doing at 18 (which you can do two years earlier and three years later respectively), why not contracts?
Another possiblity Multi is that the game works well for European tastes but not as much for American ones. Many game are like this and European and American game players do tend to have different tastes. Or it could be your right.
And now, for the conclusion of PIRATES V. NINJAS: SOG STYLE. *Schod laughs evilly* *One phase jump away* Unknown 1: Is everything ready? Unknown 2: Yes sir! Parrot: Pieces of Schod! Pieces of Schod! Unknown 1: Yes parrot...tonight you WILL dine on piece of Schod... *Back at the Novalith* SoG: Computer, Emergency deactivation of the Novalith! *All weapons, shields, and targetting systems on the Novalith shut down*<br/
SoG: Fire the Novalith at these pirate fuckers! *Novalith begins firing* New Ensign: Sir, they're dodging the shots! SoG: What?! I thought only fighters and bombers could do that! JD: Its the "drunken sailor" manuevre mate. It's so random that even the most powerful targeting computers ever can't track my ships! SoG: Where are the ninjas? They can defeat pirates! JD: They're dead. I blew them up while they were killing who you thought was Schod. SoG: Who I t
I use it...but then again I haven't found the time to actually play a multiplayer game so I might not be the best example. :NOTSURE:
Because if you join a League of Sentient Objects simply because you happen to be a sentient object that means you are conforming to your sentience! Rebel and join a completely different league of inanimate objects! Our leader is a toaster!
Maybe Stardock can put a sign above the count down numbers saying "IF THERE WILL BE A DEMO IT WILL BE RELEASED AFTER THE GAME RELEASE." Then we wouldn't have to pounce on all the forum newbs who ask about demos. :d
TGE is such a powerful forum necro that he can revive himself from a Chuck Norris roundhouse kick! I am in awe. :d
I declare a League of Inannimate Objects is now formed to oppose the thread reviving LoSO! All who care about such things as rock, gas, water, or the sun join me! (happy Schod? I didn't ask for permission ;) )
I think the sins forum might have a part time one of these.[link="http://www.flamewarriors.com/warriorshtm/klaxon.htm"]WWW Link[/link] :)
SoG: How's work on the Corascant Novalith going? Commander: Its half way completed sir. SoG: Excellent, bring up a picture of it on the view scene. New Ensign: Yes sir. *In orbit of the asteroid Corascant, a half completed Novalith is being worked on* SoG: This will establish our dominance over even more of the solar system! A new day is dawning! One where I will... *40 pirates vessels jump in and destroy the cannon* SoG:...shit. Captain: I tho
This is why its stupid to have NH as the first primary in the nation, they're all crazy hicks like this guy.
I still like the system as is, partly because I like how ship types evolve and get more diverse as the game goes on. With this system, while fleet sizes would still get gradually bigger like they do know, ship type diversity would remain constant. I like having to work to get carriers specifically and having the option of not bothering with getting certain ships. That is my objection to this plan.
