I think GC3 was suposed to be like 2012 ot something like that...a long ways off. As to GC2 losing it's popularity, of course it is. That's the natural life-cycle of any game. Once new updates, expansions, and content stops being made you will soon see a steady decline in the number of people who play a game. I still play 1 or 2 ZYWs most days, and last night I start another Swindle, but most of my gaming time is being spent on other games at the moment.

The MV empire rankings have not updated for more than a week now, starting with when they had that server problem. I made a post about it, but havent had a response from any SD people. I dont know if or when they intend to fix it. Maybe it's just the holidays, or maybe they arent going to. With the depreciation in mil rating increasing as the number of ships increase, and also the effect of reducing the tedium, makes building huge hulls maxed out with weapons a better choice. I think your problem might be solved. :D Sentient species taste

Loup, I did get the Ur-Quan Masters version of SC2. Definitely some nice improvements I see already, like planetary graphics, interface, etc. I listened to some of the voice-work and didnt like it that much, so I didnt download that part.
