Its WAY too hard to get games started...PLEASE hurry.....

Ooze sucks, its not worth the health drain when there are other very useful skills to choose.
Okay I have to argue this because the post just doesn't make sense to me at all. I really don't believe you played this much at all and are just complaining based on very early impressions. - game feals and is slow ! just fire the designer who proposed that making all heros move like snails will be fun Generals can move quite fast with the right items/upgrades, not to mention teleporting. It would be stupid if everyone zipped around the map by defa
It IS a lot of fun but it will be a lot more fun when it doesnt take 15min to start a game that takes 15-40min.
weird reasoning if you plan to buy later anyway. I plan to learn in the meantime to be better later when online is better. I play tonnes of online skirmishes against real people right now it just takes too long to get a game going.
I find in mid game minions of all kinds can be used to soften another demigod *just enough* to give a good edge for 1:1 battles.
Again, its not unbalanced at all, its the player. I think its very funny how many posts include "I played a few games" or something to that effect. I have seen a variety of demigods own...its how you play.....play 50 games then have an opinion..........
if you are upgrading citadel first, then theres a better chance the whole team can get them with gold upgrades. Team should come first.
Not at all, a player who plays most the other demigods well can deal with UB. It seems quite balanced. I have been on both sides and it really comes down to the player.
If you have played other stardock games like sins and gal civ II then you know they are awesome about updates and fixes. This is not EA, have a little faith. Stardock will take care of things, they are the only truly active developer out there after a game is released.....I pray that never changes. EA didn't used to be a money grubbing heartless craphole and I believe that Wardell wont let stardock go down that road. You realize even the guide hints at more demigods
Do you have to manually fire it and how? Whats the effect? What are the details of the dark forces super weapon?
and the game after it dropped again....pretty annoying I am going backwards for playing games......
I have been trying to build up my character online and I was building from 375 and the next game i had less than 240 without buying...why?
nevermind found the basic one......too general though...
The game looks great but I truly have no idea whats going on beyond the obvious......where is the guide?
If the release of Demigod isn't effecting it what is?
I have to say after all of this...if you cant compete against the marza then play TEC and get one of your own. Either that or learn how to counter. While it may be the strongest cap ship, other races have non-cap ship advantages. I have yet to see an imbalance. TEC is probably the best noob race choice for the marza and ease of economics.....its not the be all and end all.
Okay, SOASE is definitely my favorite online game of all time. The original was great and Entrenchment has just made it even better.... I know it is almost cruel to ask about the next installment so soon but I salivating over further improvements and functions for the game! Any chance of a teaser of the next expansion or at least an idea of its overall conceptual contribution to the game? I apologize but when you make something this good, giving us so much faith
That's great to hear, I will be looking forward to it...I hope it outlines specific differences between races...what ships can't and can't do etc. I just really hope it comes out before too many people shift their attention elsewhere out of frustration. The more addicted the better for longterm online play (and obviously so they will be salivating over the next 2 add-ons).
I love sins. I read each change log quickly as it comes out, say "ooo" then forget all the details as I have a job and a life where I can't spend hours a day just trying to figure out how to play. Entrenchment looks great, I played the beta a bit...but geez.....what does what to who now? I can't even find how to remove mines...what the different mines do etc. You can imagine how I feel about not knowing what any ship really does now or what the counters are. Ye
I wan't to play the entrenchment add-on off-line to get the feel but to play on-line the version without entrenchment as it has many more players online at any given time..... I know there is a way to have both the original and entrenchment installed at the same time...some folders get copied etc etc...I just need to know how this is done as I cant find it in the forums anywhere.... Thanks in advance!
I am running sins at 1900x1200
Now I did just buy a new system lately and haven't had much chance to play but I could swear that from a week ago the graphics are significantly improved...... Regardless, for a game that can be set for lower end systems to handle, when everything is cranked to the maximum, damn the game looks awesome now...... This scale PLUS great visuals is incredible, the only problem I am having is that I find myself getting my butt kicked because I am so busy watching ships fly around cl
I just got an I7 920, with the gigabyte 58x ud5 m/b, 6 gigs tri-channel 1600mhz ram, gtx 280 overclocked evga vid card, the antex 12 case, 2 640gb barracuda drives in raid 1 and another 1g barracuda, logitech mx 1100 mouse, logitech g15 keyboard, corsair 750w power supply...and it has made me very very happy! All in about $3000 canadian configured through ncix. I put vista ultimate 64 bit on it.
I am not going to ask for a "when", don't worry..... But, does everyone who pre-ordered get to beta test? If not, how do you get in? Also, how will we know if we can take part...what will the means of communication be? Thanks.
