The AI's complete refusal to trade higher-level weapons (even when I offer them everthing I own, including my own, higher-than-theirs-level-weapon) is rather stupid.

You can make it so it never shows the battle, just the results, you know. I'm new, but I've never used them. Never had to defend a planet yet- the AI is too weak still, I'm over half the tech tree ahead of anyone. Need to crank it up some more.
Well, I had no military at the time. I went on to crush them (the Yor, poor fools- that's the second time in as many games, but this time I offered them no peace treaty). As far as I can tell, you're telling me that the Drath superability is not that much use. Most of the races refuse to fight at the moment, due to treaties and trade and relations- wish there was a function to sabatage their relations. Put that in the next update, Stardock! I had to settle for making the Drengi attack t
I am quite new to the game and am playing my third game as the Drath. The first two were as the Arcaens and the Korx, whose superabilities were easily noticeable and made a large impact on my game (I got very, very rich off trade ). The Drath superability, however, is not noticeable at all to me. I have tried talking to other civs and asking them to go to war, and the only way they'll say yes is with su
Most definately. Online would also be awsome, although games would take AGES. That's the problem with multiplayer, I think-unless you crank the research rate way up, games take hours and hours.
I apologize. I didn't see it. You guys are too good for me! Excellent game by the way, although I am still getting past the learning curve. Perhaps declaring war immediately after building my first warship was a bad idea. Edit: Oh, my word, there certainly are a lot of options!
Would it be possible to have ONE thread with links to every approved mod? Preferably a locked threat that only the Admin can edit, to keep it brief. That would make it a lot easier to find the available mods, for those of us (like me) who aren't looking for any one in particular. The release threads are good at describing the mods but are exceptionally long, and a simple list (perhaps on the site, not necessarily in the forum) would be very much appreciated, at least by me.
