You want the enemy to defend many places. Then you can choose where to fight. His forces will be weak there. The problem with that is the same effect applies to you.

Are there any active groups out there which set games up? I hate playing online as I always feel like an extra wheel against the "pros" During the beta, online was really fun. Ugh, looking through their .j file is a pain. I'm not sure if it's for protection, but they sure do love making their own functions. ^ I didn't enjoy the cutscenes too much, actually. They were well done, it's just that they're so cheesy. I laughed out loud several times during the cutscenes. Story telling is probably the weakest part of Crysis.

I played crysis on a low-end computer (barely managed all low on a resolution half what I needed) : Didn't have fun. Thought it was bland, boring, ect. Played crysis on a higher end computer (native res, most settings on medium with a custom graphics file) : One of the most fun games I've played.

Are general army sizes set? As in "This general can only have X units" Or is it a bit more complex, where if you go past the generals commandling limit, you run the chance of units disbanding in it, lower quality, ect?

Nividea has a plugin for photoshop which allows you to open/save dds. Because Gimp is opensource (at least I believe so) finding a plugin which does the same should not be hard.

Demigod never tried or tries to be dota. It's in the aos genre - much like dota is. This is like complaning that CoD4 stole many features of BF2, but BF2 has more features ect.
