should see some of the crazy koreans that play starcraft a bit insane, not all games have the option of changing the speed you need to stick to one if it changes it can take a while to get use to it, like going from a slow mouse to a fast one with 5700 dpi.

The Mac laptops would be good depending on what you do but they might be a little costly but they shouldn't die easy always bootcamp if you want to play games.

steam isn't that evil its just bad the games on it can be good but its drm like thing is so bad, like i said last thing i buy through it. Online play is great but i like to play empire games by myself or with friends i will play other games online such as WiC till i get bored of it, could always replace it with a desktop computer they cheaper and more powerful unless you like being moblie.
