I've only made one blind, but I had the same problem. I'm sure I skinned it right, but it only shows 2 states.

Need a Favor From Someone with Vista in WindowBlinds WinCustomize Forums

I am trying to skin a blind with a Vista substyle. The problem is that I don't have Vista. What I would like to do is get a look at a screenshot of some of the parts in action. My main concern is how everything relates to each other, and where the text is and what colors the text needs to be, etc. Could someone with Vista take a screenshot of the control panel, navigation parts, and explorer parts in use? I am using the 'Turbo' blind as a reference for the parts, so a screeny of that

That would be a cool idea though. What about the text direction? Does anyone know if that is in the works for the future? (I had my docks on the left side for a while but I did'nt like the sideways text either.)

Rob, I use GIMP for everything. When you make your image, you don't have to make a border of green around it. It sounds like you are not deleting the background layer....Get rid of it!! Right click on the background layer and choose delete. Then whatever you make will have a transparent background. Finish your image and save it as .png. If you want transparency around the button, just leave a space around it(no background). You do not need to put it into Skinstudio to make it
