You seem to live in a world where Bush is responsible for everything and congress responsible for nothing even when the Dems are in control of same. Please note that Bush put forth a bill in 2003 to redo Fan and Freddy as they seemed to be heading out of control and congress said no because they wanted to be sure that lower income groups could get mortgages. I happen to not be a Bush fan, but the only group with lower approval ratings is congress and believe it or not, they write the l

I started with the docks too. I got the free version first and spent hours looking throught the icons and backgrounds I could put on it. I knew I wanted Object Desktop as soon as I saw everything it had. When I finally got it, I was in heaven. I wanted to learn how to skin it all! So far I've made icons, dock backgrounds, rainys, sysmetrix, wallpapers (not my best catagory) and windowblinds. I still feel like there is so much to learn....and I'm having so much fun doing it![e

One TV. No cable, no satellite. We have the coupon for the converter box but have not used it yet. I spend most of my time on the computer anyway. I've done the cable thing, and the satellite thing. We had 100 channels and there was nothing good on any of them. If I want to see a movie, we rent it.[e digicons];)[/e]
When making custom shapes..in PSP you can customize the size and there is a 'snap to pixel' box that helps with 'smoothing'. PAINT may have something similar
I'm sure GIMP has that somewhere, but that's something I have not figured out how to do yet. Do you know if there is a PS Tutorial out there that demonstrates how that's done? I may be able to translate that to GIMP if there is.

I have paint.net on my PC but rarely use it. It's more like a super improved MS Paint program. In my opinion, GIMP is more like Photoshop than Paint.net. GIMP can do almost everything Photoshop can. Most of the PS tutorials can be translated to GIMP. The only limitation to GIMP that I have found is it does not have the ability to use layer sets (which stinks if you want to animate a Xion player).
but I'm not seeing anything wrong with it
It looks OK at the size of the pic, but if you blow it up a little, you can see the jaggies on the black parts. It's fixable with a little patience. [e digicons];)[/e]
you're mistaking the page scrolling to the reply box (which is what happens with #reply shows up in your address bar) then the page is not reloading at all, and it's a problem with the editor
I did not really look to see if the page really reloaded, and I can't remember if the progress bar showed up. I don't know if you fixed anything or not, but it seems to be working OK now. [e digicons][/e]

BTW, when I did that for Organic, I did it in SKS5 and then moved the blind to SKS6. I think it can be done in SKS6 entirely but I have not done it yet. Even in the Organic blind, it's not perfect. If you set the start menu icons to small, it shows the flaw. Open it up and look at how things are set and it will give you an idea of how it's done. The easy way out is to edit the color of the highlight the same as your start menu and leave it at that.

You will need to have your image uploaded to a site like Imageshack or Photobucket. Copy the 'direct link' for that image. Click on the icon that looks like a tree, and paste the link into the box.

(my edit button is not working.....) Typing in the text first is optional. I just did it to show you that everything vanishes when you hit the quote button.
