Exactly my point most of the themers submitting LS themes on this site not only do LS but our artisticaly inclined. I have perused most of the sites out their,and they just dont get quite the same caliber prouduct. I have looked at most every themer/skinner brave enough to post thier bonifieds . Checked their sights, looked in sites across the pond at sites where not only I could read the language couldnt even figure where their Downloads were. Just seeing if any thing new had come up in the light step arena. Its been 11 days since there has been any strings .Still 156 themes, you know their more good non ots themes then ots. Just wondering if themers are slowing down?. Shure would be nice if some of the heavy hitters coverted some of these outstanding works to OTS. Or maybe give tutorials on how to do that process. I've tried on some but always manage to not quite get it right. Just wishing theme well <img src="http://images.s

PharOe your site is very insightful thanks hopefuly i can ingest some of that information. Its getting to the point that it only takes a 2 or 3 hours to understand other peoples step.rc's instead of 2 or 3 days . I guess that long learning curve depends on how good you drive and whats driveing you thanks

Know of any good basic tutorials/links. Something covering minimum requierment, I have perused the module docs/Ls docs. Just need a little more of a nudge. Doent have to cover third party mods or any thing fancy. Looking through every ones themes is very informative, but its hard to tell where the absolute buttom line ends and personal preference takes over. So any reply will sure help.

thanks moshi but it is grdtray that i am trying to replace not systray. so basicly your saying that they are inter changeable?
I have several ots themes that have grdtray.dll in them but my os W2K dose not function well with it . Problems with it hanging up system when switching themes recycel, ect. I looked at LS docs but it only shows systray perameters not how to make the transition. can one of the many themers here help
did you try saving the file to its self before changeing skins?

Yea jafo i was usin a modyfied version of you personal folder,noticed that you used that proggie as you say just don't have $30.00 AT THE MOMENT|| BUT ANY WAY YOUR FILES WORKED A LOT BETTER THEN THE ONES THE installer loaded did not have all of your stuff but most of the software in the short cut file is basicaly the same . brazil you should check out ls faq it has somethings to try on you problems thanks one and all

when ever i try to acess my computer in litestep it fires up win shell instead of file explore. I am running litestep on a win2k system have tried regestry edits sugested in LS install for Win2k. The only thing that i have been able to do so far is to comment out the my computer line so I dont forget and do it again. Any ideas?.
