So did Cain. One is no less guilty of inflicting death if one does it actively o

I apologize for sticking that health care thing in, but it illustrates the nature of the Obama/Democrat administration. It isn't optional (the health plan). It's purpose is coercive; to change the workplace, the schools, and your personal life. If eating potato chips makes you fat, then you'll have to stop. Just imagine them coming into your residence, weighing the whole family, and telling you what you have to do in the name of health care. <s
Nobody seems to have noticed this aspect of one of the health bills, the one that has passed through the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee (HELP). It's aim is to "promote healthy living and reduce disparities" by providing grants to "(A) State government agency; ([e digicons]B)[/e] local government agency; or (C) national network of community-base
"I recently aquired ObjectDesktop Plus, and after some browsing of the menu loaded in the 'default.ini' theme" Do you mean Object Dock Plus? I don't know what you mean by browsing the menu and loading in the default .ini theme. Does this mean that you clicked on the "Configure ObjectDock" icon, and chose a backgro
I'm happy with things the way they are. For someone like me with no talent, it's a real privilege to even be made an Apprentice. I appreciate that you can still contribute and be helpful while not being a skinner, but it's the artists who make this what it is, and it's an act of real generosity when a non-skinner is promoted.
The best of luck to you, mrsstarkers.
Happy birthday to you, Cyndie. I hope it's a good one.
Happy Birthday
SD SOLITAIRE Until a few weeks ago, I was on dialup. I couldn't access a page like this unless I was willing to wait 15 to 30 minutes to load it. A 5MB file took half an hour to download, so I had to find something to do while I waited. I took up Spider Solitaire because I could stop playing anytime without ruining the game, and minimize it as well. After months of playing, I finally got to 90%

Here's another neat thing you can do with OD Plus--a "Flyout Menu"
It sounds like you need OD Plus. It has many advantages-multiple docks, and tabbed docks. With a tabbed dock, you can have a tab (Taskbar) that shows all open windows; programs and folders (if that's what you mean by Explorer). It shows whatever is displayed in the Windows taskbar. Also, you can have a tab (System Tray) that displays everything in the system tray-that means that you can hide the Windows task bar, something I do. What you are doing now is comb
Are you using ObjectDock Plus? If so, create a taskbar tab for your running applications and folders, and switch between them that way. Click on "Tabs & Styles", then click on "Add Tab", then click on "Add a taskbar tab". I can't tell from what you've written if this is what you are looking for. I hope this helps.
Nah, don't let that stop you. Now you need to convince yourself that you NEED a bigger desk. Then you'll see all this empty area on your new big desk and you'll NEED to get more monitors...
Now, that's the proper way to approach the situation.
The new one (#35) is my favourite so far. I like the subtle green on the mouseover as well as the gradient stroke, maybe not quite as bright.
Try going into IconPackager and click on "Add Icon Package", then click on "Install From Disk", browse to the package you want, and select it. I just tried that with a package that had a separate .icl file, and it installed that way, but didn't when I double-clicked on the .iptheme file.
It must have been there in February, because that's when I got it
Looks good so far.

An excellent choice. You've been the steady rock throughout the whole DX weather widget problem, and are more than worthy of the title Master.

I can't help you. It's too bad it wasn't a TV; then you could shoot it. I can see why you'd want to give up, but I hope you don't. Just keep hammering away at it. You're a clever guy; you can probably sort it out. In the meantime, take a look at a screenshot I made.
I'm not sure what your situation is, exactly. IconPackager doesn't remove the taskbar. It changes the Windows system icons, such as those on your start menu and folders, picture files, and so on that you see when you browse through your folders. I can't tell what you did, but the way to apply an IconPackager theme is to open the program, choose a package that you see in the list at the bottom, and click "Apply Icon Package" on the left. When you first open th
A wise decision. Be sure to download and use Impulse. You can update all your software that way, and archive the programs as well. Theme Manager is useful as well; you can download and apply themes; that is a group of "skins" like a wallpaper, a WindowBlinds skin, an IconPackager theme, etc. It will also create a copy of your "desktop"; that is whatever you are using that you have setup and that it is able to apply. Check reply #14 for other good skinnin
For others to use WindowBlinds skins that you have designed would require them to have the program (WindowBlinds). The same goes for IconPackager themes and so on. MyColors is a program that applies several different skins all at once, like a wallpaper, an IconPackager theme, a WindowBlinds skin, and DesktopX gadgets such as clocks, calendars and weather tools. I don't know what program creates MyCo
