I bought diplomacy the computer game for 5 bucks at a store and I have one question for it before I open it (so I can return it if it's bad). Is it a good game and worth the 5 bucks? I read some reviews and they were not that promising but I still want to hear want people think.

I would like to see more live in the galaxy, the game has proven that rebels and corporations can have military ships. So why not see a bunch of civilan ships? I would love to see TEC cruise ships, or Advent civis making a haji to a planet, or a vasari slave ship. They could refeclt about how wealthey the system is or how bad it is. a refuge ships retreating to a another planet. civlian ships would also be a good target for pirates so you could attack them and give your cap ships some experiance

I usually blow all my resources on research and then I cant build stuff. So I was wondering how much you should put into researching?
