ferm1nc's right. like the internet, you can think of MP in this game as a series of "tubes". once one is patched up, pressure builds further down the line and another fault is exposed.

i believe that you can download on one computer, archive it, then transfer to another computer and use impulse to install it from the archive. i think the trick is to select download and archive, as opposed to archiving after it's installed as it doesn't have all the files needed for different OS's (XP, Vista, etc) search the impulse forums for exact instructions. this route may be preferable as you're buying in dollars, which maybe cheaper than the european retail pri
