Still unable to use metaverse! in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Since the previous technical support request through [email protected] gave a solution that did not work, and after reopening the ticket/emailing 5 days ago [no respose], I find myself posting here to try and bring some sort of attention to the issue, or something. The problem is that I am unable to post a score to the metaverse (with error 12, keys do not match). Now originally this was thought to be the case with me registering my metaverse character under the dark avatar serial,

Depends on money. If its going to be a tight map, I always go for mass drivers, as they seem to be the "cheaper" option.

Okay so followup, since Ive been away for a bit. This problem still persists, so I've mailed back support. Very frustrating after playing a gigantic game that I cannot post to metaverse. Sigh...

Thanks Kryo, you do a excellent job catering to the community here. If anyone else does what I did, they CANNOT delete your character (apparently no one can?), you will just have to make a new one. Just a heads up for all... use your DreadLords serial! Thanks again Kryo.

Hi all, Just a bit confused, I setup my account, created a character with the Dark Avatar serial number, and when I login to play a metaverse game and try to post afterwards, it gives error#12 saying that the serial used in the metaverse server does not match my own serial. I just bought everything yesterday so I know I have everything installed correctly... am I supposed to use the DreadLords serial number to play and post DA games? If this is the case how would I go about deleting or

CariElf, Happens on a Large galaxy. On tough AI (global), didnt tweak any custom AI settings. So far Ive had it happen with 5,6,and 8 AI's. Happens about 50% of the time (yes really ) Of course there's also the planet quality issue that I am sure you guys are aware of, however I'm hoping that any other people experiencing this speak up too, because while low amounts of colonizable planets is playable, a dormant AI is not.<br

This problem is present in 1.8 I just played a game where the AI did not build a single ship, except colony ships. The only ships they had were their flagships, and a quick check at the graph at the bottom had all AI's not having any research. This is quite disappoining buying the game this morning and not being able to play a game where the AI would, well, DO ANYTHING. AI was on tough, as well. Awesome, I just bought the game today, (been playing @ a friends house for like a month, he wanted me out lol). So I bought GC+DA-TAbundle, and couldnt be happier to play. Quick question to anyone, when I try to register my serial for TA, it says its invalid... do I have to wait for October 25th for it to register?
