VirtualBox, Windows 8.1, and WindowBlinds in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

WindowBlinds on Windows 8 and Secondary Monitor Issues in WindowBlinds Stardock Forums

I have WindowBlinds installed on Windows 8 and it seems that when I run any theme other than the default Windows 8 theme (YUCK!), when windows open on the secondary monitor in a maximized form, the window gets distorted and the only way to fix it is to un-maximize the window and re-maximize the window. I have an issue with Explorer windows on secondary monitors, this doesn't happen on the primary monitor. Yeah, I know... weird. Anyways, when you maximize an Explorer window on a secondary monitor the window's title bar, toolbar, and a lot of other things about the window gets completely mangled. I tried it on another computer, my notebook. I connected my big TV as a secondary monitor via HDMI and I made a Start Menu button on the secondary display. As soon as I clicked the Start Menu button, the taskbar on the primary display popped up, nothing showed, it just popped up. Mind you, I have both taskbars setup to autohide. Is this normal?

Without Start8, there isn't a start menu button on the secondary taskbars to begin with so I can't test with it. Steps to Reproduce 1. Go to secondary monitor's taskbar, not the primary monitor. 2. Press the Start button. 3. Notice how the taskbar on the primary monitor popped up even though you didn't do anything with it. The Start Menu does still show up on the correct monitor, t

I have a secondary monitor on my desktop and on that other monitor I have Windows 8 showing another taskbar. Obviously I have Start8 putting another Start Menu Button on that other taskbar. I seem to have an issue the new WindowBlinds for Windows 8. This involves taskbars on secondary monitors. Whenever I apply a skin via WindowBlinds the secondary taskbar on the secondary monitors keeps jumping up and down like a kangaroo. Up, blink, down, up, blink, down... like a kangaroo.

That's what I'm using right now but the thing that annoys me is that the Start Menu button icon on the secondary taskbars powered by DisplayFusion aren't skinned. Is there any chance that WindowBlinds will support DisplayFusion and apply the change to it as well as the primary Start Menu button icon?

I went back to Windows 7. The GUI of Windows 8 is awful, it's ugly as sin. I also had to fight with it considering that it keeps thinking that I have a touchscreen, no... I don't have a touchscreen, I have a keyboard and mouse. Even in the traditional desktop desktop it kept wanting to go to the full screen Metro stuff. I finally got fed up, I went back to Windows 7. Now I can use WindowBlinds. I'm happy again.
