Mirsguy
Redneck, you're Mr. Miyagi?!? [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Aha! I've done it! I got to thinking (which is normally a very dangerous thing to happen) and figured I might be able to install WindowBlinds on my XP Virtual Machine within Windows 7... and viola! It worked! I now can see what Aero Station looks like on XP. Woohoo! [e digicons]\o/[/e]
I just have no way to test it What am I....Chopped liver?
Ross! You know better than that! You've helped me a TON. I, of course know that you'll test XP for me and will help me find all the bugs. But it'll be more frustrating for me because I'll be fixing parts and have know way to see with my own eyes whether or not it's working.
Yeah I can test on XP too when the time comes, but.. be prepared
[e digicons]XD[/e] &
Unless your one of 50-60 % of world still using it.
Yeah, that's my one hang up. I know that the way I've been skinning this puppy, everything SHOULD work fine on XP, I just have no way to test it for myself.
Made a few short strides today. Didn't skin anything new, just cleaned up some of the existing skin parts. If my personal schedule remains as busy as it has been, this might end up being a 7/Vista only skin, especially since I would be skinning XP blindly.
Return of the necrothread. [e digicons]x_x[/e]
Gee Whiz! Is someone bitter? [e digicons];P[/e] Nothin' personal, WG. [e digicons];)[/e] Just got a chuckle from it and thought I'd share.
You make me feel like a slacker! [e digicons]XD[/e] Everything's looking mighty fine, Ross. Love Aeon, too!
Well, things have gotten complicated. I've had a lot of responsibility added to me at work. I've been very busy, especially for the last couple of weeks. I have a feeling it might take quite a while. To make things more complicated, my XP machine died last week...
When will an update with some problems fixed?
Glen, Firefox uses the favorites menu. Skin that part and you'll be all good.
Ahem... Micheal Keaton is Batman!
Definitely. Liked him better than Christian Bale, though Bale did do well. Now, Val Kilmer and George Clooney... they definitely were NOT Batman!
In Windows 7, if you are using large taskbar icons, then the start button will hide properly. If you are using small taskbar icons, then your start button will not hide completely. This is a bug from the xp era, as Cavan mentioned. This bug was a non-issue with Vista, but apparently 7's new superbar has helped to mess this up again.
Awesome! [e digicons][/e]
[Request] I use Adobe Bridge as a file browser. I just learned that if you drag a folder onto the Bridge icon (on your desktop) that folder will open in Bridge. I have seen Mac OS-X users do this very same thing by dragging a folder onto their Bridge dock icon, and Bridge opens to that folder. Also, I've seen them drag .psd's to the Photoshop icon, and they can open the file that way. It would be really nice to have this functionality in OD 2.
All u have to do is click on a layer to get it to be selected as long as long as you have Auto-select checked (it isn't checked by default in PS) Where is that option?
[e digicons]o_O[/e] I name most of my layers just cuz I'm a neat freak. [e digicons]XD[/e]
Just noticed this one this morning: Mouseover text on tabbed docks sometimes goes behind the dock background, and sometimes disappears altogether. As I recall, this is one of those bugs that haunted 1.9. [e digicons]:-"[/e]
speaking of ballgames sox beat the yanks last nite
Woohoo! jpmurph, you a Sox fan?
No reply from "support" so i'll lodge a chargeback through my bank.
To quote from another thread here:
Stardock and support are off for the holiday weekend and won't return until Tuesday, April 6th.
https://forums.wincustomize.com/379278
So...what's the issue with the "built in one"? Works for me just fine.
I don't know about other OS', but on W7 x64, the right side of the start menu is missing when it is activated by the built in start menu docklet. This might actually be a conflict between the docklet and WindowBlinds. I haven't even tried it with Aero.
