With the final release of Iconpackanger 2.0 I am trying desperately to finish up the rest of my FauxS-XP Icon Packs. I have Cobalt, Emerald, Ruby, Amber, Crystal, Sapphire, and purple in the gate and will be up over the next week or so. These are a large commitment of time, and I love doing them. However I am considering make a FauxS-XP (Black) Iconpack, and offering it up as a reword for a Paypal donation of 2 or 3 dollars. I don’t know how well this will work since most skinners

I have just discovered a program for themeing Mac OSX, called Duality 3.0. It is apparently drawing a lot of fire form apple, but I think it is great, I am looking forward to what you can do with a postscript interface. Anyone tried it? The Iconic thing is that one of the most popular themes is a WindowsXP theme, talk about wird turnabout. I am mostly wodering about Sign designers, illuminated, noniluminated etc... There are alot of signs in the world, I find there is alot of talinted people out there in designing signs, and some crappy ones to, but the good ones don't seam to get much credit.

That's way, a good designer can make any file work, but clean files make like alot simpler.

Ya, that's how I got introduced to it, It is because most of the vinyl cutters, routers, thermal printers, etc use software form Gerber or other PC based design programs, which is all PC based, Corel is suited well for this, because you cant really have overlapping shapes and the like in metal, vinyl, or neon, so Illustrator, were things tend to be done in masks, is very impractical.

APB is doing (is almost done with) a Windows (9x/2k) conversion of the pack, I will be posting it soon. Probably this weekend. It loses some of it's luster without the antialiasing but it is cool for those of you who don’t want to use XP.

I am trying to come up with some cool Ideas for a new sires of Original Icons for XP, It seems that almost all the good Folder Ideas are being stolen form OSX, even my FauxS-XP Icons have a OSXish look despite my best intentions. My question is dos anyone have any ideas for a Original type of Folder, or theme. Something that will take advantage of XP’s new Icon capabiltys.
