It's not your graphics card that will be the problem, you will need a very powerful CPU to process all those ships doing their thing.

Cardassin Starbases were shown in DS9 as the same type as the ones in Star Trek Armada 2 but they also used the Deep Space 9 model. Romulan Starbases have never been shown and Star Fleet Command 3 and Star Trek Armada both have differnt verisons, I do prefer the SFC 3 one though.

Both of them will enhance your experience ten fold against the AI so I would get them, right now there is no offer for just the 2 together, you have to buy them seperately on impulse or all together with the orginal sins as well in the Trinity Pack.

I tried this the same time you did! Never played any of the other games but fell in love as soon as It started. Bit hard to start out but now I understand it perfectly, well not the whole US - USSR Relations bit as the USSR sent 3 destroyers to kill me for some reason. I have almost the same computer as you and I don't have much problems, it might be your processer that's doing it or you could try increasing your page file.

I go on and see about 100 people on with a lot of games running but the problem is there are never any other servers up when I go on and msut be the same for others and that's what puts them off. I wish this game was able to be more like World in Conflict where you can join any game at any time even after it launced but I don't think it would work so well for Sins.
