I'd be curious to know what turn-based game AI is better than GalCiv II's where the scope is even remotely the same. We take AI very seriously on our games. And I take the AI very personal since it's the part of the game I personally code.

There's definitely some detail here: http://draginol.impulsedriven.net/article/171522/Of_the_Altarians https://www.galciv1.com/encyclopedia/history.html Thanks Peace Phoenix. I think it safe to say that the relationship between the various games isn't artificial or manufactured but has always been that way.

This week has been pretty tiring. I hate being away from my family. I just left CES in Las Vegas and now I’m in Redmond Washington. Next Wednesday I get to come home. If you want to see what I have been doing at CES see my other blog – http://frogboy.joeuser.com .

How about if we find everyone who has more than $10k of credit card debt and take away their right to vote so that we don't have politicians who cater to people who can't handle money and thus eliminate a lot of the calls for more spending to bail these people out?
So that could include learning a new recipe? Learning a new parenting technique? Trying new plants in the garden? Learning a new hairstyle? (Hairstylin ain't easy, else there wouldn't be a school for it. [e digicons][/e] ) Seriously, I understand it's not inventing. It's not always getting out of their comfort zone. So maybe that is complacent. [e digicons]:\[/e]
I
I guess I missed the point. How are Divorce laws harmful to women? I am by no means an expert on the 50+ laws around the country, but at least here in Virginia, they appear to be very equitable (to the point of cleaving babies when necessary) to make sure that both partners get out with equal assets.
They're harmful to women because it makes men a lot less likely to marry or if they do, have very strict prenups.

In my latest series of articles designed to offend people, I will discuss how divorce laws are hurting women and marriage. One of my favorite bloggers is Cassy Fiano . If you want to talk about a young woman who defies every negative female stereotype it’s her. She’s funny, intelligent and is guided by her thoughts and not her feelings. One of the common themes I find on her blog is how many of the very rights the feminist movement champ

Foreverserenity - I call 'em like I see them. You're certainly free to disagree. :)
Maybe what you are experiencing (and thus forming an opinion about) is more a difference in communication style.
No. At this point, I think I've traveled enough and met enough people in enough places to come to the conclusion that women tend to focus on the here and now. Perhaps some are offended that I call that complacency. But generally speaking, I've found women to be

No one is ever going to call me a fan of humanity. As I reach the end of my third decade of life, I’ve come to a number of conclusions about humans that I think many people realize but don’t talk about because they’re very politically incorrect. Stupid Men Men seem to be a lot more likely to do things that are life ruining because they often seem to be oblivious to the long term consequences. Men get into their 30s and often seem to think

I read about this article on Digg and the reaction was just the opposite -- full of "sue the airline" and how racist Americans are. Then again, Digg has become a community of fringe extreme leftists. Check this out: http://digg.com/politics/Cornyn_promises_filibuster_on_Franken_seating

If our system keeps people liek epiclulz from using/buying our stuff, then I would say it's a feature. :) I think Epiclulz is being purposely obtuse. We don't do anything at all to prevent people from selling their games. But it's certainly not our responsibility to spend money creating some system to make it easier. The person who buys a game second-hand isn't our customer. The transaction is between two third parties that doesn't involve us. By Eiclulz's a
