Hyperspace in starwars is another dimension where things are(simply put) smaller and you don't actually travel any faster, but you get there faster. Think of it like this. You have point A and point B and in order to travel between them you need to head directly towards them. Now you find an alternate route that allows you to travel there in less time because your actually traveling over a shorter distance.
Thats best
on the hyperspace issue, i think we should all recap, just so those who havent found the greatness that is Saints of a Solar Empire (much better than the other fan fiction posted on the sins forums, i have found) can effectively argue for or against our points. i believe that it is an alternate universe, although an alternate dimension is possible. straight-up ftl is just not possible, lucas wasnt stupid enough to directly violate the laws o
ITS $9.95 you can foreverly download it, accidently unistall it, just download it again. The those images released is the Vasari starbase is so obvious. because there is no advent ships in the pictures, and as stated the phase missiles and the archetecture.
Yeah but I had to keep it simple like shakespear, also I was not sure if he wanted to play multiplayer so he would have to be either play or not play, But you have to admit it was the perfect quote to use at this moment.
yep that was my last except someone new comes in

Impulse was "released" mid-summer, and was in public beta before that since at least early in the year. Either way, the OP's assertion that he's making judgements, six months *after* release, based on a beta from months *before* release, is pretty unfair. At this point, the great silent m
And btw, there's no mention of any 'lost in hyperspace' in Han Solo trilogy. I read that like it's gold. (I'm a huge anakin solo fan. Skywalker SUCKS). Not that i don't beleive you. I just wanna find the book so i can read about. Sounds kinda interesting.
Like i said, I couldn't remember which book so I guessed based on memory and the books on my shelf, Lost in hyperspace in a escape pod was real, my mind is great in remebering some of the most random or not very notice
Yeah it does say a different dimmension so basicly I am guesing now that this dimmension is the same flowing universe but with no ship to crash into.
sure they could. the rebels could do anything with their ships as they didn't technically have a military, but instead had a hodgepodge of ships. thus anyone could alter the hardware or software to the very deepest level. and besides, as a military force, they would want to be able to turn those off just so they don't get pulled out by an Interdictor. Yep thats right, in some ways it will make it easier so we don't have to travel to store but that kinda ruins the fun going to Target, Best Buy, Fred Meyers, etc.
At least they got free national advertisement on a well watched show.
Dosent gravity actually pull you out of hyperspace? P.S. I support the altenate universe theory. Samurye.
Well not realy because celestial bodies of a certain mass or greater are preprogramed into the navicomputer to pull you out if you get to close. If that was true then the microhyperspace jumps in The Maw would not work. Also there have been incidents of ships hyperspacing right into suns and pl
As a small aside, ALL the pathces were supposed to be delivere through Impulse from the very release of Sins (Check the manual). However, Impulse wasn't ready so SD reverted to a more "traditional" patch delivery system to get the players the best product possible as fast as possible.
I just looked at the technical support in the sins training manual and it does state that clearly. I never noticed that there before. I gues it does clear up all the confusion and actually
I think the star wars hyperspace is just faster then light travel. While phase space in this game is more like the b5 hyperspace or the slipstream space as some scifi fans use. With most scifi the hyperdrive tears open a whole from our space to hyperspace with brute force. However, in B5 the shawdows were able to phase in and out of our space. I think in this game the idea is the same. You phase into a different s
Quoting DarthCaedusMorgan, reply 19 There is a wasy however to be permanently stuck in hyperspace is by being jetisoned in an escape pod in hyperspace that happened in one of the starwars books. What book was that?
I don't quite remember because i havent read them in a while so I think it is in the Han Solo Trilogy.
Ok take all the time you need to discuss
