I also noticed something funny when I played the TEC, a Vasari fleet entered my system which had a phase inhibitor. As soon as it arrived my defenses attacked it. The fleet actually phase jumped in my gravity well. Has any one else seen this? Also I noticed that the PJI's radius is very small. Perhaps with the upgrades it could be made bigger. Will putting more than one PJIs, slow down a fleet more than one? Regards

Cool! Checking in everyday just in case you guys post a new update.. Currently spending on average 4-5 hours a day playing the maps. I have not tried MP yet as my connection is very2 slow. But so far I have increased the number of AI opponents up to 5. hehe.. Regards

Another way to make PJI work is to make them interdict a fleet but only for limited time, maybe 30 seconds, unless it is destroyed in that time. It could be a second or third level ability. The first level does what it does now, slowing down the cooling down before a phase jump. A second level will slow down the cooling down further and a third level is an activated ability that interdicts a fleet for thirty seconds. This way if we have more than one PJIs, then we can activate them in sequence.

Any news on adding the extra fast gameplay mode for speed junkies... Also, is there a way to make the fleet travel faster in the gravity well especially if the fleet is only passing through the planet en-route to another destination? Regards

I have been playing the game for the last 14 hours and I must say that to take out one of those capital ships definitely need to focus fire. Bombers to soften it up then one of the capital ship weapon that removes shields. As to the shield mitigation it has saved a few of my capital ships when they need to make a tactical withdrawal. As to the logic, maybe just a simple matter of if too many ships fire on one target some may not get a good lock and not hit a critical system.<b

I was hoping that the campaign and additional content would be made free to all, as part of the reward our ongoing support for the game. If it is an expansion and have to be paid for, please make it cheap. As it is I am looking forward to the modding community to come up with as much content as possible. Who knows if I am hit by the creativity bug I would make my own stories. Have fun! I just installed my game and currently updating my drivers before I play.

I loved the battles in HW and HW2. It was one of the few games that I played the single player game a second time round just to see how many more capital ships I could build a second time round. As a fan of huge space battles I hope I won't be disappointed by the battles in SoaSE.

There was another post earlier on a machine running vista 64 experiencing some problems. Is it a coincidence. If it is NVidia 7 series related then I am worried as I am running a 7 series card. I may need to upgrade if I experience problems. At the moment I am still downloading so hope for the best

Reminds of David Weber and Baen Books. They really reward readers who buy their hard covers. I bought a David Weber book and it had a CD with all the books that he has written. I feel so happy paying for that book. For a company like Stardock and Iron Clad, I would gladly pay for their work as they really listen to the fans and reward the fans. Keep up the good work. I will be buying the game when it comes out here - though it will be quite a wait...

Tried to buy online via the store but I think that they don't accept credit cards from Malaysia. It is a shame as I was really looking forward to playing the game this week. It looks like I will have to wait until it reaches the retail store... I am thinking of buying a new desktop just to play the game as currently I only have a laptop for all my work and gaming needs.
