I don't think it stacks per spell, Sev. Not sure if that's what you meant? Wyrmskin Gloves Slow, if it procs before the last one evaporated, will replace the previous. Where we run into abuse is that each effect will stack with a different spell that does the same thing. So Reg's Snare will stack with UB's Diseased claws will stack with Wyrmskin Gloves. I don't think two players with Wyrmskin can stack that effect, but it doesn't really matter,

Evanescent and PossiblyImpossible Seriously guys, we heard you the first 5-10 times you told us "nothing against this game, any 5 yr old will enjoy it and that's fine (but it Sucks! Connectivity! DoTA! Rage! Internet!)" Since Demigod being the worst thing since bubonic plague hasn't kept you from checking the forums - come down out of your bittertree and help us balance as best we can for release, no? If you guys want to get a game tomorrow at 17.00 GMT or so we ca
There is talk that items will be balanced in such a way that the 5v2 will be playable in a vets vs n00bs sort of way.
Have you guys ever tried this? It already works. Even when you throw a pro into the mix with 4 newbies they will lose almost as fast. Right now the only thing that can beat 2 vets is 2 vets. And if one of those teams is 2 vets + a newbie that team will have a much harder time winning unless they can convince the new kid to stay in

I forgot both Anklet and Cloak of Night. I used to use anklet all the time because my favor wasn't logging and it was the best item I could afford ^^ Cloak is great item.

I like this idea, but off the top of my head I'm not sure it will discourage team ganks unless something else changes. That's because Spell damage isn't mitigated by armor at all, and some of the most effective combos right now are stun nuke stun nuke or slow slow slow slow - four spells and you are out. Give more armor when ganged up on and you've made spellcasters more powerful than dps when alone and when in a group. Personally I think the game w

I'm curious what favor items people use? If there are any no one uses it would be a good indicator that they could use some love. Depending on build I use Staff of Renewal, Poisoned Dagger, Furious Blade, Wings of Seraphim, and Heaven's Wrath. What about you?
From what I can tell, they are purchased using favor points earned from the Pantheon correct?
You can earn favor points by completing achievements like Regulus the Bully - "kill a Demigod ten levels below you" and also by being the best at a given thing in any custom or pantheon game. Kill the most DGs, destroy the most buildings, capture the most flags, etc...When a game ends you will log any favor earned, which is persistent across games. </p
Either keep it how it is now, or add an animation showing where the person is going to tele to.
It must be a big deal for innociv to break silence ^^ I know alot of times modding is much easier than actually coding, but can we re-examine the animation idea or at least abandon the alternative? It would be nice to talk about other, larger issues.

So here we are a month from release and Generals still aren't behaving like Generals. Sedna foregoes Yetis but is beating up UB, QoT uses Shamblers mainly as fertilizer, and no one seems to be playing Oak unless victory is guaranteed. I would say something about Erebus, but I haven't seen him to play against in weeks. Does anyone use idols except in 1 v 1 against another general? If they do, do they win? I know the devs spent alot of time and effort implementing

This will be addressed for the next beta or by game launch.)
I can tell you with total assurance that I was not in either of these games in any capacity. However, I did attempt to join both of them, and might have been in the game lobby for them. I either timed out or quit out of both lobbies well before the gam
Playing some Pantheon and Custom Games with real people, it's become clear that whichever team has more Assassins will win.
Not true, once people know how to play generals effectively. In the current build you can't use minions all that much. QoT puts a few points in for the self-heal, and Oak can make his Spirits work for him, but you should see a strong Sedna or Erebus without minions. In a good team game they can make all the differen
Two problems: 1) The 0.5 second cast time. The point of these scrolls is to counter spells. This means stopping a spell that's in the process of being casted. If you have a cast time in addition to your recognition/reaction time, there's a good chance you'll miss stopping the spell you're trying to stop. 2) You have a cooldown listed for your Scroll? If that's a persistent item, it needs
That cant be for everything surely! its almost 2GB !
We don't yet have selective patching in Beta, so the download writes over itself every time. Hence the smallest of changes will always come in a 2 GB package. I'm beting this will be changed for release ^^

As a quick fix I like the Rebound mechanic. It just needs a clear set of rules that apply in all cases. Once you start making exceptions for specific spells or Demigods (who don't need the help) you have introduced a new set of problems that we don't have time to fix. It should look like this, imo - a. Scroll of Rebound. $500. 0.5 second cast time. Upon use any spells cast on that player or area around player within the following 2 seconds
SOme team in the tournament from Gamereaply cleary show us that. We had to go me and my brothers to different tactics.
Right. My team tried again and again to get TBO and TLO into a telegank situation - they just wouldn't play that game, or they made sure they were prepared for the pop-up. Even in our game with you guys I saw you porting in and ran out before you got there a few times (though it didn't help much in the end ^^). On a strategic level,
I just "lost" a game which we were 3v0 because it was slaugther mode, no one to kill and my npc buddies kept dying
Of course, this problem should be fixed by release, but meantime: When you get into a game like that the only way to win is to kill the enemy citadel. It has ugly thorns though, so you want to make sure you don't capture enemy portals so that you can level off the grunts enough to survive the backlash. Don't bother with your major PK nu
