If i remeber correctly, more will be added for free.
hehe yeah I kind of feel the same way. We played Crucible over and over and over and over and over and over for so long [e digicons][/e]

Do you have your key registered in Impulse? You have to register a valid serial key to get updates.
Now to sound stupid, but what the heck is DoTA?
Defense of the Ancients. A fun mod for Warcraft 3 that is very popular. There are similarities in gameplay to Demigod, and indeed DG wouldn't exist without it, so DotA vs. DG comparisons are common. There is another game by the same people who made DotA called League of Legends (I think) that will be like DotA.
Ahh yes, ad hominem rears it's ugly head once more. Beyond trolling, what is your goal? A question you should be asking yourself. You are not obliged to defend this game, absolutely correct. So why are you?
Am I? I don't see how either of my posts defended the game at all. I implied, if not directly said, that I enjoy Demigod. Its true. But that is not me defending the game. I haven't attacke
As much as I'm sure you think you're currying favour with the development team, one has to wonder why you feel the need to resort to ad hominem and white-knighting, as opposed to bringing your own, well-reasoned counter-argument to any of my points. The fact that not a single one of you has done this yet, is indictive of the subjective, defensive and rather childish attitude of some within this community, which is rather ironic and certainly hy
hehe we've done that to ourselves before as well. Lots of wireless networks in my neighborhood.
It would be interesting to see future maps with "environmental variables," such as bridges that could be raised and lowered or partially destructible environments.
Yes that is the kind of stuff I would want with new maps. The maps we have now are a good mix of small, medium and large maps. Adding more of the same wouldn't improve the game.
A new Pantheon tournament is scheduled to start on April 14th. You can see this information by clicking Pantheon above ^
Oh well, he is right, we have to get used these kind of kids posting their gibberish. We saw a bit of it in beta, sure there will be more over the coming month. Hopefully the trolls will slink back to their WC mod before too long.
Welcome to Demigod
Yeah the stats on that page will become more meaningful over the next month when everyone is playing
I'll continue to play as Sedna. She is fast and fun. Very capable of holding her own on the field and a great asset to any team.
I deleted my Demigod folder in My Documents/My Games/Gas Powered Games/ and re-ran the game. It works fine now though you will lose your profile and have to recreate it.
Yarlen had me deleted the Demigod folder from My Documents and run the game again. Must have been some residual beta files or something. Everything seems to be working now. I know my computer specs aren't much of anything, but I never had a problem playing in beta but now I get this error after the opening cinematic.... c:\Work\forge\main\code\src\libs\gpggal\DeviceD3D
Oh and Custom Game Rankings and Skirmish should be under one ranking, imo. Its pretty annoying to have your stats split because you played some in Skirmish, then some in Custom Game, when at the end of the day they are basically the same mode but Skirmish is auto'ed.
Custom games are too easy to modify in a way to give you a constant stream of wins without requiring a large amount of time. I wouldn't want it mixing with my

My favorite is the map with more than two start points. Having to defend both bases would be a lot of fun in a 5v5.
as with all last minute balancing, I'm sure it will be subpar, and a few days of public play will reveal many problems.
I'd assume so as well. But oh well, they are commited to continually working on the balance for awhile.
Everyone and their dog knows that Rook is overpowered. Those who insist otherwise are in denial and the subject of my earlier replies.
No way! You're nuts! I beat 1v1 playing as Sedna against a Rook AI opponent and beat him easily. And it was NIGHTMARE AI, that is like totally way harder than playing a human player! EDIT: Gamma has all the balance updates in it which we didn't get to play with.&nb
You mean Regulus was easy to to kill until he leveled up some? Shocking! You need to work on your game and stop throwing this crybaby fit about Flurus. Notice how nobody supports you? You are spouting nonsense. You let a huge level deficit to occur which shouldn't have happened no matter what and you really weren't supporting your AI teammates. Flurus is one of the top players, you are not. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to get onlin
Interesting you all just discount that as being juvenile
Flurus is a well known member of the beta community and we are all having a laugh at him being accused of hacking/cheating. While anyone who has enjoyed a Flurus smackdown can understand your frustration, you should do yourself a favor and better learn the mechanics of the game.
Looking forward to it
I've had a great time with the game and the community. Even with the current state of beta, the game is still a great way to waste 30 minutes. I can see this staying on my computer for a long time. I'm eager to run through single player as well as see how I rank against the masses of new players come release.
On one side is myself and 4 Nightmare AIs against 1 Easy AI. Gold set to filthy rich, war rank set to 10, level set to 20, tower strength set to low, grunts set to high, spawn rate set high, game speed set high etc. I start the game, buy all the reinforcement upgrades and in about 2 minutes or less the enemy citadel is destroyed. I never have to move. Rinse and repeat to online ranking glory. Please tell me this won't be possible with the release version [
