Ok guy, where are you hiding out? Hopefully not in a snow drift somewhere! This weather is for the pitts. Stay safe out there on these nasty roads. j

Oh that one IS nicer. I like the green better. You did a great job. Sorry about the scratch. Bummer. judy
Sorry I didn't post sooner but have been busy! The snow looks so cold and then today here it snowed and is about 20 with a wind chill of 17. Must be something called winter. Be care out there good buddy. judy
Hello Mason. I was glad to see you had posted and let us all catch up. Holidays can be hard on a lot of people even if they are with "family." I am sorry you didn't hook up with your brother but I can understand why. Wishing you a good plate of turkey and an absence of A$$'s out there in your world. Gentleman is always preferred and I truly see that, and real understanding, in you and your writings. Happy Turkey Day and if not, just get through it.
Wow, just WOW. Mason you caught me in the first paragraph! You wove a great story with beautiful words, emotion, suspense, and compassion. This is a truly great read. Keep it up Mason and by the way, when are you GOING HOME? Take care of you out there and enjoy your pipes. judy
Hope it all worked out for you with the storm and all. I am so glad I live in the high country desert of NM and not on the coast any more. Stay safe Mason. judy
What a nice post Mason. I can smell the sea air too and the pipe. Glad you had a passable b'day. We share the same month and are both Scorps. Had snow in my hood today. Very unusual for this time of year. Be glad you were not trying to drive over Raton Pass today. [e digicons]>_>[/e]
It is a beautiful pipe. My favorite male cousin YEARS ago smoked a pipe and he had a large collection too. As a young child I liked the smell of pipe tobacco but didn't pay enough attention to his beautiful pipes. My loss. Have a good up coming week or two. Are you ever going to get "home" again Mason for a few days?
Mason, I have an awesome umbrella myself. All the colors of the rainbow and huge. It was a gift and I cherish it. I know how you feel about your lost umbrella. Are you staying dry?
Bloody Hell! Liked this one a lot.
Hi Mason. As you know I quit smoking almost 6 years ago but I know nothing about smoking a pipe although I had a few male family members who smoked a pipe and I have enjoyed the nice smells. I thought the different kinds of pipes was just because one liked the looks of a certain pipe but I am gathering from your post that there are differences in the way a pipe smokes depending on what kind. I also wonder why some are so expensive. Is it because of the wood it is
My goodness! Looking good there Mason. You do clean up real nice. Thanks for sharing. judy
Not only was that a scary experience for you, the way you wrote it down actually put a pit in my stomach and my heart was racing. Of course I am happy you survived but for one, you gave me a good scare and I think it did the same for a lot of us. Stay safe out there Mason. j
Great discovery Mason. My sister drives alot and discovered this happy companion too. I know you will enjoy it and should help to pass some long hours. Stay safe. judy
I didn't find this post until today and was glad to see you again. Sorry you are hurting so. Hopefully the rest helped. Maybe cooler weather will help too Mason when applying the tarps. I am sure you are already in TN by now. Have a good trip and keep us up to date. You know why I can't comment about the pipes but enjoy if that is how it is. Stay safe!
That was not a happy experience I can tell. Sorry you had to work in that heat under those conditions. Just glad you are ok and taking it easy to fully recover. Good that you had information that a lot of people do not have. Must you load in the heat? Guess I don't understand all the trucking rules. Hope you are trucking in cooler weather by now. Texas SUCKS in lots of ways. judy
Nice story Mason. And you obviously got a pick up in mood too. [e digicons]:)[/e] There are a few special people who can do that for you. Glad you got your boost tonight. Your experiment is very interesting. Are people more confused with the tie or with the knitting? Have a good trip wherever you are headed. judy
Mason, IMHO, what makes YOU interesting is your many facets. Enough said. [e digicons][/e]
Hi there! Hope you got a plate of the roasted pig. So where will you be headed off to now. Has it been as hot there as it has been here? I hope not. The new eyes working out ok? Have a good one.
"could DO both"
Good music can be as restful as extra sleep! So good you could so both. Thanks for the update. I bet it is pretty there this time of the year. Stay safe. j
Ok Mason, again missing for too long. Yes, it is HOT or rainy or cold, but let us know you are still rolling and where. I hope you were able to finally shake that summer cold. j
Good to "see" you Mason. I know you will be glad to shake that summer cold. Have a safe trip to NJ. [e digicons]|-)[/e] [e digicons]|-)[/e] j
You sound just like I thought you would, sort of a Tom Bodett kind of voice. "we'll keep the light on for you." Of course I had seen your home videos too. I would listen to you on the radio! j
Hi Mason! So where are you catching some fireworks. BBQ and cold beer this year? Where ever, I hope you enjoy and HAPPY 4TH OF JULY. j
