You could probably get away with having multiple weaker raids active at a given time, and since they'd acquire new targets regularly this would remove the EBay bid system since the pirates would pick new targets much more regularly.
I don't understand I'm sorry Darvin3. Is it that in diplomacy are they dumber? Because that seems not to be the case, they're more aggressive, like early in the game, at least in mine. I understand mid-to-end game is fine, I had no problems

No one mentioned it, but the current "strength" of pirates raids defaults to how bigger the bid is, so technically speaking you put a lot of effort/money on Computer Ai, say 1,000 credits, then threat of the pirates gets "severe" or "guarded", then at the last second, Ai puts 1,250 credits on you so guess what, the "severe" threat bounces back. I personally agree with you guys, I always turn them off to have actual fun. They should balance them seriously.
Repair Cloud... Just another "excuse" for us Advent to use Detonate Antimatter.
What about the Vasari units?
Vasari. I've just realized some of the Vasari ships resemble creatures. Have anyone noticed this as well? Take the Squirantra, isn't that a squid viewed from top? Take the subverter, isn't that a shrimp? Or the Ravastra? Shrimp-like too. What about the Vulkoras? Even the panel icon looks like a vulture. The Enforcer looks almost like some sort of crab-spider-bug crossbred and the nick-name for the Jarrascul is sometimes "space-whale". Funny. Take the Se
An alien, infected, hiegenically altered and twice-used tampon. That's whats chasing the vasari.
One word, groundcombat. LOL
My first planet is always named Homeworld. I'm too fond for it. As a new capital planet is designed, it is named as well Homeworld, then the other is named something else.
Turn up planet detail to Highest setting.
Sorry, I just play Vasari for now. That's all I got. I've searched the manual and found nothing exceptionally better than the strat I just gave you, IMO though.
Vasari Skirantras carriers can make several copies of any fighter/cruiser ship at level 6. Also they can produce an aditional bomber squad, making them the only capital ship with most fighters squadron in game. With these abilities, they can bolster your fleet at any moment given it has antimatter. Not to mention, they can emit a cloud that repairs over time their fleet around them. Consider having a bunch of carriers with a level 6 Skirantra and "replicate forces" ability.
[...but you don't get to choose which ships you get and don't get any capital ships or support cruisers(which also means that you don't get any strikecraft forces)...]
Actually, strikecraft cruisers are available.
Good strategy guide. I followed it step by step like a benchmark and it worked really lol. Bring more, we want more! GJ.
Ha! By visiting those links of Axis, I realize that Tralon hasn't read the manual at all, or even caring to try any of the tutorials... tsk, tsk. Dear Tralon, the manual doesn't explain how to suck at a game, yet you do it flawlesly lol.
Tralon, you will sincerely excuse me for laughing, not from you, but that last message from you was very funny for me. It happened to me, not in this game, but in a similar 4x which I didn't understood as well. I see perhaps you need, as every dude has tell you before, to research more "space" to accomodate your next ships. That's called Fleet Research. There, although you see "blank" spaces on the artifact, which is ok at the start of the game, the "Fleet" one isn't as you might think. The "ran
Personally I would like to know if any of my ships/planet deffenses are lost/destroyed, not only for Cap Ships. I could recall C&C "unit lost" or Homeworld "frigate lost" audible sound. In the heat of battle, especially in large battles, this little feature could save you time and help you decide if an early retreat would be wise.
