yup, i would go for that. I have the hd4870 and it runs all the games i have installed like a dream on max settings. If ya can somehow magically conjure up another 70 pounds then i would definitely go for the hd4870 :D the new cooler on the 4850 seems pretty good. 19 degrees cooler is good considering it runs at 70-80celsius standard. Have to create a profile in catalyst and alter it in notepad to make the fan run faster otherwise.
The topic is a bit ott and probably leaves a bad taste in some peoples mouthes. But thats solely down to mr elsius laying the boot canoodling too thick lol.
