CONGRATS CLIFF!!!! I really want to Thank You for all the super designs you've created down through these past few years! I can remember many harsh & out of line comments when you started which were often hurtful & nonconstructive - at a time when you needed the support. Your continued growth not only toward making windowblinds, but also skinning other apps really is a testament toward & past the 1,000,000 mark!!! There isn't enough STARS to

I agree with you dpxmedia; you've hit the nail on the head...just stick to your strengths, design your system, & stop with the "perpetual petulance" concerning MS. Apple DOESN'T want to appeal to the mass market with the way they run their business. <img src="http://images

Tarkus, I believe Sony last year was surreptitiously placing root kits on your computer if you bought their DVD writers and accompanying software. I really don't know HOW MANY others are doing this but the drawback, as IsD pointed out, is you have to unstall WB before you scan. <i

Dr. Guy, Guess I've been one of the lucky ones when dealing with MS....I had a driver issue with a modem that wouldn't let my PC shut-down properly; I called a MS tech who walked me through the process for at least an hour taking me through the device manager disabling each component because it wasn't known (at the time) why my computer wouldn't shut down. It didn't cost me $250 dollars...I'm glad you received great service from Apple - trying to get

Black Cat 77, I hope your right. I agree with you it would be a CATASTROPHE if they released Vista right now...I know I'm dreaming, but from what I've seen & heard I wish they'd just bite the bullet & wait till late fall next year to deliver it. <img src="http://images.stardock

Love the small dog-eared ZIP doc in front to the left of the folders indicating them as such...excellent timeline here seeing the progression from OS/2 up to the present - the graphics have improved markedly in leaps & bounds from the years 94/95!! Thx Brad! <img src="http:

Agree Nakor...I was going to get the Norton Suite AV set, but since they've tried to block Vista's release along with Jafo's critiques (and with other's here) I'm staying miles away from NAV - I wonder if you opt for a third party AV like Bit Defender9 how that'll work on Vista?? <

Not to beat a dead horse beto666, but I'm using an AMD/CPU & Abit MB - are you using Intel??? Just curious & wondering if the hardware one uses has a profound effect?? Also I've heard alot of good things about NOD32 as PU BX states - haven't tried it though. <img src="http:

Stange for me I'm using AVAST (the free home version) & it's not a system hog on my machine for what it worth - maybe the PAID version does this...it finds plenty of V's too with a great simple UI. I've tried AVG & liked it as well, but I just didn't want two AV on my system at once. Never tried BD9 or Trend Micro but MOST AV sofware (I say MOST) seem to have some kind of shareware/trail version so you can experiment to see if it fits your nee
