i don't know.. i think a copperdeck or borg dock would be awesome.. no zoom, of course. can you drag and drop files onto apps -and- folders in the dock? will a docked folder pop up a hierarchical menu? will it combine with springfolders to pop open docked folders on mouseover? just curious..

i switched to mozilla a couple weeks ago. the impetus was using chimera on my os x machine. they've actually done a lot of work on it, and it's pretty cool. the main thing is tabbed browsing, which is 'the bomb.'

hehe.. well, i'd just be re-iterating what jtfolden said. suffice it to say that when the dental students in the computer lab where i work want to actually get something done, they use the macs. we have plenty of both here, and about the only time the pc's get used is when all the others are busy. i'm talking ms office apps [particularly powerpoint presentations,] number crunching, multimedia, research apps.. you name it. i'm not some hardcore anti-windows guy.. obviously <

crc stands for cyclical redundancy check.. basically, there is a place in the file where it says how long/big the file should be, and the actual size of the file doesn't match. it almost always indicates a bad download. the only way to fix it is to re-download, if you can. [afaik]

if you're a generally positive person, you're more likely to look at things with a more positive perspective. the gas tank is half full.. the in-basket is half empty.. as far as downloading, it depends what you're downloading. if you're getting full albums from emusic at the rate of several a day, you might need to monitor your drive space a bit
