TEC fleets have low damage output, that's why you need the Hoshikos and Cielos to grind down your enemies, literately. If you like to win research the demo bots, they lower the hostile fleets' rate of fire.
Believe me, some of the stuff we are doing with Star Bases (which isn't in the Gamespy preview) couldn't be done with modding. Likewise with much of the other new material.
Hi Blair, I just want to say that I have so much fun playing this game. The community is so incredible that I wish it could stay this way forever, posting with such a smart group of gamers, nowdays, is just priceless. You know, since we are tal
Umm it would make a lot of sense if the game has an incredible online match experience with "alot" of players. But, I have yet saw 300 people online at the same time...........so, doesn't 10$ seem a bit too much for a micro expansion pack? WC III added many neutral heros and new items for no charge whatsoever, and had being continue to do so. I am just saying.
Shut up and go play 30 + games with the Advent or Versari. All of your troubles will go away, try it.
I love Akkan, too. I think Armistice and Ion Bolts are great, the aura needs work, indeed. Lovely strategies, btw. But, how do you deal with Crystal shortage in your games? Do you just keep on buying them or tech up the gathering process? P.S. How does karma works in this forum? I want some.
woah woah woah, wait a minute, I don't really see your problems. Look, as I understand it so far, the fleet thingy is just a nice suggestion, or mere cosmetic symbol for your various ships. Therefore, you can just Ctrl assign whatever into a specific group thingy as you may like. And you can do that whenever you like, make a new fleet even. And just in case you don't want somethingy in your group, just fire them by de group the groupies in the fleet management window. Lastly, you want your s
I want some 1.09 replays. Post it if you got some.
you can always upgrade your logistic slots in the planet management window. They are green btw. One for logistic, and the other for tactic slots.
Or, or, or, you can use the space bar after the production report. Come on daddy needs some karma for Sharon Stone.
You know what? People like ryeeson is why I have given up playing music to the cows. My mean, bejesus of heavenly lords, did you really think that I didn't know a single trade port won't generate any income? Holy frak man, I had a better time teaching my excel logic, than explaining the obvious to someone like you, sir. But, please don't give up on life, you are so precious...lords of heavenly fathers.
I heard you can even hook up chains between different star systems, I have never tried to do that, personally, but I think it is a possible feat.
Don't you forget that you can always check out your longest chains anytime, by hovering the cursor over your credit display on the top right corner. Also any miscellaneous gravity well, such as Asteroid Space Junks would always broke your chain unless you can hook up your trade chain around it. Basically, just think all of the UCGW (Uncolonizable Gravity Wells) counts as chain brokers in your trade routs, and there are nothing you can do about it. Finally if trade ports are chain
you have done way too much research, fleet is so very important. All of that tech means nothing if you only got 20 or so frigates.
Kit are you a tester or something? How could you possibly be that hardcore with this game already, lol. I would never bother to check the .entity files. umm, btw, I know where the entity files are at, but how can I "check it?" Or what program should I open the files with? Or you know what my problems are right? Thanks.
What Harada said but... I go with Akkan b/c of the free extractors, I am sorry, but that's too nice plus the accuracy + range aura and nice fighters, personally I think Armistice is overpowered with Tec's speed+ production Tech, did I mention that you can further upgrade your repair bots as Tec? You can't touch that philosophy with Armistice. Obviously I also get the phase lane detection tech asap. And obviously I like trade ports and don't mind the pirates with my lane detection an
I am too tired to list out all my reasons for this accusation, but I know.
I agree with kingofsiam. Fighters shred through the trade ship fleets in seconds anyway.
Wait guys this is very interesting. Can anyone work out the real math? I want to learn, please.
Or you can just do the old fashion phase lane hopping way. It would take a while, of course. Ummm you don't like to build scouts do you? You probably didn't see the possible phase lanes.
Hi developers, the new pirate and black market mini window is full of pure win. Thank you very much
The main use for defense platforms and hangars should be as a defense against small attacks and siege frig spam. They will not stop an attack by a human player, unless the human player is stupid. But they are good at helping you out. Repair platforms are god, have a few of them on your frontlines to quickly repair your fleet.
I will even go a bit farther by saying that: the only usefulness of DP and hanger is to fend off pirates. So if you don't want to assign a fleet t
Soo umm it's now past mid July, just let you know.
You should rush Javelis-class frigates as soon as you have the tech requirement, just to be safe. It is arguably the best damage dealer for you in the early game, until the later upgrades such as Kodiak prototype. Long Range or "Anti-Medium" does 75% damage against Caps, 150% against medium frigates, 75% vs. Heavy or V heavy...you can't really make any smarter purchase than that, then again I am not that experienced yet, so...ask around.
Meh, I don't usually mind the designs: they are not from my own mind, so they are new, and anything that is new is good for me(well, that's a flawed logic but just go with it). Besides, all the ships became little symbols after the camera is zoomed out anyway. Kodiak is lovely for me, b/c every time after I researched the prototype in game, I smile a little bit. I like to think a Kodiak as a chomp chomp...what? Aren't that cute?
