Sorry - didn't realise you were the thread police... My bad!!
Hack78
And that works in MP games???
Sure it was - people might not read this thread. Also - note the time difference... And you needed to make your post complaining about my posts larger then my two by quoting them???
Try http://www.facebook.com/home.php#/group.php?gid=52977390861&ref=mf Hope that works....
Major Motoko Kusanagi : What the hell did you use? Batou : Your standard issue big gun. Ghost in the shell
https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/331759 - thread promoting said group!!!
"I love Frogboy" group has been created on Facebook due to the "In awe of the Frog" thread https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/331630 Come join the appreciation society!!!
OK - Facebook group exists Its called "I love Frogboy"
OK - hover over an enemy ship/strcture and you will how many points are on offer These are shared between any caps you have (I think between allies even - not 100% on how this works exactly) Lvl 1 caps are useless for exp - HCs and seige frigates give more. But the higher the level of the cap you blow up, the more you get.... All races can buy up to Lvl 4. Advent have a tech that gives free exp over time up to lvl 4 and a bonus thereafter...
st of luck to you guys and if I could, I'd buy you all a keg to keep your spirits up!
And keep the productivity down :D Unless they code better while drunk. A guy I went to Uni with thought he did!!!
minidump is short for miniture dump file - a snapshot of what was happening to enable troublshooting - its the Sins version of Dr Watson....
I'd wager it's not the thought of losing that scares the new guys, it's the style of play that the "pros" use. Playing against new people is always more fun because they use many different strategies and techniques. The people who have been playing for a long time use cookie cutter strategies. It's about who can click and spam more than the other guy. Those strategies are great for winning, but not for having fun.
TKins - they are better because they know wha
I played online for the first time and lost, but I pulled back planet for planet, built up everything my funds would allow. Dumped all remaining planets and had one last stand against the agressor. If you want me to quit I will fight till the last crewmember dies, rock in hand on his interstellar rubber duck
Which is what pisses people off when it is 11pm or later, we have to go to work the next day and our partner is shouting at us to go to bed and turn off the comput
The fact that you and your 100 plus game buddy defeated me and my two AI Pals and then not even saying GG just demanding that I surrender
So what is the etiquette for this? I was under the impression that no GG is given by the winner(s) until the opposition say GG themselves as I sign they give up (like knocking over the king is chess), or giving some other indication such as "you guys were too good" or "if my allies weren't noobs" or "if only I had managed to g
And so it begins....
That would be the bug then!!!
Its a pain, since you are already down since you are fighting pirates, have lost income in the bidding war, and then lose even more!!! ARRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH
It would also be nice if the host waits for all other non-AI team mates to quit/surrender before quiting/surrendering - that way the winner(s) gets a win and doesn't have to 1) Play the game through against AI to get the win, even though all humans have left the game (i.e. game migrates after everyone else has left) or 2) Basically the same as above, except that the game locks up and the only option is to quit...
Is this 1.1/1.11? Someone said there is a bug with this that IC know about and that it is not possible to finish that scenario. It will be fixed in a future patch I believe... EDIT: Yes - I beat Annatar11!!!
Have you setup the facebook group yet??? "I love Frogboy"
Are you the host of this game, or not? That kind of changes the perspective. It COULD be that the host has ping issues!!!
Like fighters protecting bombers???
Why don't people do the tutorials first??? This is one of the first thing I learned about Sins (and it only took about 5 minutes) - You only colonise a new planet if you can support the upgrade for it - its a balance act. I still see heaps of players who leave planets undeveloped and then they bitch they have no econ to build a fleet to help or that they are being steamrolled by a pro (depending on if they are on my side or not obviously....). Half the time its not that someone is bet
The neutral extractor scuttle bug was explicitly addresses for 1.1 - now people want to go back to 1.05 behaviour? Remember that a colony frig will kill a vassari scout!!! I also find it funny that people bitch about the super weapons - first time I think I have heard of someone saying Advent's one is too strong. Note that the Vassari one also DISABLES things as well as damaging them. The idea is to jump in straight after it hits and get some quick licks in while the o
well, I knew it was in front of the blast door - while trying to hotwire it etc...!!!
