You all know, if you've read my stuff before, that I have big ideals on what I want in a game. Not many games make it past me. You can now read onward, or die trying. Or do something else, I won't stop you. First, the ultimate game would have to play in multiple styles. It must be at least playable from FPS and/or TPS perspectives, with one other perspective, such as an RTS or Hack and Slash style. This would allow fans of more genres to play the

Seriously not cool. One always should have the right to put any symbol, assuming appropriate content, into their work. No blood, no sex, no whatnot, but a cross is one of the simplest symbols, and there should be no penalty for puting it in art. --Christian, BTW.

You're probably here for a list of good free and open source games. When I say free, I do not mean Free as in Mabinogi, with its cash shop, I mean 100% free. I will say if there's any commercial interest that will affect the average player. Use Google or Wikipedia to find these games. Battle for Wesnoth: Five @'s. Probably the best turn-based strategy game I've ever played, at least from a military strategy, as opposed to X-COM style. Nice fanta

I find that the people I know who pirate software are Liberal rather than Conservative. I, however, am Conservative, and though I do not pirate (except occasional abandonware, but I can justify that for greater justice, as opposed to stealing stuff that still sells), I cannot find any rationale to. If you can afford a computer, you can afford software. I don't care that Photoshop costs $100+. Use GIMP.
