It was the same move that crashed Edwards a couple months back, too. Don't know if you saw it
Yeah, I saw it. I especially liked Edwards response..Brad was just doing what he had to do. Plate racing is going to get someone else killed, most likely a fan. But I don't have an answer.
Moose...for whatever reason, I seem to always be arguing with you..but I do like your thoughts. The move Busch made was waaay too late and the very same that killed E Sr...it was uncanny. At least it was for the lead. Both times a lot of good cars were wrecked by no fault of their own. #5 FTW.
The "Awesome Auger". I don't know why I just thought of that. I probably need one.
I totally missed this earlier. Given the thread didn't look. Every man needs an awesome auger.

What you state is true..the AI is not a credible opponent. The Epic game is not about the AI. We can all play WoW, Demigod...et al...ad nauseam. The 4X TBS should have a home.
I suppose we should find a GC3 thread and express our desire for a continuation of the metaverse there.
I'm game. The least we should hope for is clean maps. An Altmeta could then develop.
The metaverse is what it is which is at best a very poor way to make player to player comparisons .....without a metaverse is just another game, whereas the Metaverse made GalCiv2 unique. Without the metaverse you may as well play Civ4.
I'm certain there are better players than me with lower posted scores. But the combination of tenacity, luck, and in my case some skill can produce a decent score. N

May not be spectacular...but it's not scaffy.
Why is this in Gal Civ II forum? Wrong button? [e digicons]|-)[/e]

I spent the afternoon doing four turns in year one colonizing. If someone knows how to accelerate the process, please relieve me of the burden. I'm sure as hell not going to wait on some other slow old ass to make his turn. GalCiv III could be multiplayer. If so, it would almost certainly have to be RTS and du
Population and Morale are inversely related...as the population grows the morale decreases. Higher population produces...more taxes, higher morale allows for a higher tax rate...more taxes. The point being more taxes. Planet specialization can in some cases be beneficial, but is not "do all, end all"...there is no trick. Starbases are largely a waste of time. My response is the same as planet specialization. I'm sorry, but I don't understand your last
my transports wont attack
A transport will not attack if the target planet has a ship in orbit. You must destroy these ships first...sounds like your problem.

How long does it take and is there any way to make it repair faster?
It would be nice to have. Willy's answer, as always, is correct. There is a wonder you can build "Micro Repair Bots", which will increase the repair rate. My experience is to build superior s
Where can I find a page that describes all of the medals, how to get them, what they look like etc etc?
Not that I'm aware of. The search function here is better than it once was, but I still use google advanced site "forums.galciv2.com". You might be able to find something. Can you see my metals? You need to sign in through GalCiv II forum for them to display.

I played Custom for a period of time but given the starting techs and bonuses, it is not the best choice. The only reason to play Custom that I can see is to get the Custom Medal. This was the first medal I recieved, at the time, I didn't even know why. IIRC the Custom
