In my games they rarely do more than scout the planet. However there are maybe 2 out of 20 games I've played with the option set that they sent more than 1 cruiser to pretend they cared. However the attack was a little lackluster and really came too late. I'm wondering if having more than 1 victory option set is just overwhelming them. IE capital + allied + occupation + flagship all at once ect...

Well the game says they had thousands of systems, so MASSIVE? Also not to mention they have cloning and nano technology so floating in space for a few hundred years probably isn't too ludicrous. The thing I personally don't understand is how they can use fleet beacons from possibly 100's of galaxies away yet your ships can only use it in the same system.
I think you should add Dark Fleet Beacon research to the Vasari Loyalists, although its basically just improved Returning Armada, its still new and unique to the faction.
I'll look into it, I'm also adding the ability effects to the Titans. I just need to not be lazy, and now is not the time. ;)

The artifacts by themselves are quite powerful usually. If you started stacking them it could get a little out of hand. I think it's untended that your empire reverse engineers or replicates the artifcats. Sort of like the vasari recreating phase inhibitors but not understanding how they work. When they lose the original more for competitive purposes they "lose" all knowledge and current use of what they have already copied / used.

The game engine already gets stressed at 1x speed in heavy combat and in larger maps towards mid-end game. Especially with desyncs in multiplayer already, doubling the speed would make this much more frequent. Is it because of the 32 bit thing?
It's the game engine being 32 bit and single thread only.
I agree it is out of place, but the Vasari new cap is out of place also and the TEC one looks like a flying cargo deck. LOL. Oh well, at least the Titans look awesome.
The Lore says the ships are repurposed trade vessels. So it sticks to the theme I guess.
Here are some quick brainstormed ideas for vicious AI -In late game, AI Titan's damage, armor, and hull repair increases proportionally to the number of ships that outnumber the titan and its friendly ships in the current planet gravity well. -Allow AI's flagship to be a level-able Titan. AI's on this setting will own two titans. Flagship Titan will be used

There will always be trolls and people looking to be in the spotlight with a ridiculous post or comment. If there are no moderators to well, moderate those posts / threads not much can be done. As Seleuceia mentions some of the worst offenders, minus all of the non sense do have valuable input. The biggest contributor to the recent wave of players IMO is steam. If you haven't seen steam forums (I'm aware this is SD) they are FULL of nonsense and trolls for the most part and

Researching everything naturally happens in a long game. The current achievements go back to vanilla sins so they are mundane and or repetitive. The research achievements in particular WORK as achievement because if you only go for the military you lose out on colonizing Ice / Volcanic and are susceptible to culture attacks. If you chose the civilian side you lose all of your ship designs and titan. Unfortunately in both scenarios you can't use the defense or diplomacy techs either f
