could be a few things. You could be getting hit from a deliverence engine (advent super weapon). Advent loyalist have a tech that spreads culture from their planets, and my understanding is that it doesnt work right and spreads from all planets from time to time.

I was under the impression these were no longer supposed to turn and face their target... well, that's not happening. If you want to test this, it's very simple... just tell a Domina to heal a Corvette. It can't do it because the freaking thing moves so fast and flies all over the freaking place.

only in that specific situation where the reanimated craft dies by timer and is returned do i feel that is a slight rule circumvention. The total number of craft affected by this is probably very, very small, and so even if it is not working correctly, I do not feel it is exploitable.

right, but conceptually, what is happening? the host craft is sending out new strikecraft and the damaged ones are flying in for repairs... All in all, I wasn't saying it should be done because it makes more sense that way, I was suggesting it as a game mechanic because a lot of people think corvettes are over powered. This way, they are limited use, but if you're very careful, you can keep them for longer. But the amount of time you need to spend to keep them functional is di

Yeah, I think the reanimated ships re-spawned on you, which seems alright to me, and I wouldn't expect it to have a timer anymore... except the reanimated ships will definitely die at some point due to their timer... has anyone reanimated an enemy ship, sent it somewhere safe, watched it expire due to timer and then it was return to your homeworld? If the enemy shoots it down, it should have a chance to be returned regardless... that seems right. But an argum

well, back in the day, if I used Animosity on your ships, it would change your target, but then you could just retarget whatever you wanted to. Basically it only did what it was supposed to do on the AI. Against actual human beings it was useless.

Ok, wasn't sure about Aux government. But I still stand by my first statement; if DE destroys culture buildings, it wont matter much. It will still be the weakest super weapon around by a long shot. Don't forget the culture growth is only temporary and short lived. So that I'm clear, my stance is that the DE, right now, cannot take out an enemy planet on its own in all but the rarest circumstances. The Novalith can. The Kosutra can't but it can take your fleet from any

They changed it in one of the patching sessions before the Rebellion beta so that you cant get around the fact that you must attack it.
Suppressing the target location's culture centers entirely might be a bit much IMO. After all the opponent does need some counter(much as all races ahve Aux government to partially defend against novaliths).
how so? First, if I just shot your planet with the DE and it blew up your culture centers, that won't neutralize your planet unless I have a very strong culture presence already. Second, won't

Here's the real deal: If you use the Returning Armada-like power on the Titan at the same time as you destroy your own world through the scrap process, the ships summoned are not regular Vasari ship... instead you might summon.... Canadians... *shudders*

Yes, both techs work, and reanimated ships also re-spawn at your home world. Also, ships at your home world will follow rally point commands, which made it slightly hard to tell when it started working, and also started sending ships through a treacherous path. It's interesting to see it all working... Because of the low percentage, its not overpowering, but it does give an economic advantage. Because it resurrects

I've seen this type of thing posted on the forums before. The common supply is 'fuel'. Obviously, a real ship would probably have more types of supplies than this, but it is not necessary. I wouldn't be opposed to it, but I don't see the devs putting the time and effort into doing this type of thing right. Suggested fixes for corvettes (note that a solution may involve multiple fixes): Increase supply cost and/or other costs Increase research tier Decrease HP/SP Decrease dps Increase build time Increase rate of fire, decrease damage to compensate Remove regeneration Did I miss any ideas? -not listing 'make them dock on other craft like strikecraft' because I dont see how thats anything mor

in my opinion, increasing supply cost reduces early game effectiveness, not mid-late game spam. however, I'm always for trying things. That is also an easy test to make, so I hope some MP'rs try it out and report back.
you can research culture and 2 techs that make it spread very fast.
I was recently proven to be incorrect on this very topic. I still feel that culture early is great for advent, but no longer feel the 2 techs are worth the cost.
