Part of the reasoning behind my 3-4 year update cycle is I sell the other one off while its still a very good machine to mitigate the costs of the upgrade. Works out well for me so far.

This may just be a universal gaming thing. But how come almost every thread I see where people are having issues its either a laptop with a terrible integrated shared memory video card, or someone running a cpu thats from 10 years ago? Is it just cause this is a strategy game so they think they can get away with it? I don't expect everyone to have a brand new system every year. Hell I rebuild ever 3-4 years myself and that might even be slight overkill now days. Thoughts, opinions
