can you please at least keep us updated as to how the search for this bugfix is going, even if there is no progress? it is a bad feeling knowing that it has been a week since i sent in my report with the required files and i still have gotten no real acknowledgement other than an automated instant response from from you guys. please, we deserve better as customers to at least be updated once every other day as to if any progress/leads have been made

if you practice english by reading and playing the game in english, you might be able to have a marketable skill for jobs and the real world. this isn't me being intolerant, porque yo tambien hablo espanol, 和 说中国 . just deal with it to be honest i'd rather have the developers spend time balancing and fixing bugs

I made a post in an old thread regarding this problem, sent in a support ticket with the required files and got no response. I assume no progress? edit: tried to force the game to start in windowed mode, still crashes

Hello all, my name is [DT]Radioactive, also known as [DT]Star Player in Sins Diplomacy. I am the unofficial leader of the Sins of a Solar Empire "Dream Team" clan. I am making this thread to inform both the Sins Trinity multiplayer community as well as the new crop of Rebellion players that Dream Team will be looking to add a few members to our roster as Sins Rebellion gets und
were you guys able to reproduce the crash with the help of the files I sent over?
i did follow pbhead's instructions, and for clarification, i just got the new set of drivers, i did not actually get a new video card.
ok, i am having this problem and sent in what you asked. good luck hunting the bug down
... of course i have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it. i've even uninstalled steam and reinstalled steam I also updated my video card
So I still can't launch the beta. I have exhausted all my available options and I still minidump as soon as I click play. My laptop is a core i5 that meets the suggested requirements and then some. I have tried to verify the game integrity, and still come up short... anyone have any bright ideas?
Until we have more access to the maps themselves, your suggestion is moot as premade maps are just as unfair as random maps. There are differences in number of extractors and planet militia that cannot be accounted for in the GalaxyForge map maker provided to us. You are also massively wrong. For the longest time in the days of vanilla sins people played almost exclusively premade maps, and many were afraid to go near the random. The fact is, with a small community, th
so, I decided to download the rebellion beta on my laptop today, downloaded steam, the whole nine yards. I first installed steam, then installed the beta, it did not work. Fine, fair enough, I uninstalled the beta, then reinstalled it. Still would not work, the game would still launch, but before I even saw one graphic of the game I would immediately minidump. Frustrated, I decided to uninstall the game, uninstall steam, delete all files, reinstall steam, reinstall the

you can "unlock" the other races by some modifications to the beta files, but honestly, they are not done yet and there is a reason that the current Beta is focusing on only one race as we have found a treasure trove of bugs already and it makes it easier to fix if there is only one race in the mix, as opposed to 3.
you need to send them the minidump file

Well, I don't see the issue here, if you like a simpler game, play Sins of a Solar Empire vanilla. I would say you are probably alone or near alone in wanting to see a smaller tech tree with fewer options. Sins of a Solar Empire from the get go had a steeper learning curve but allowed the player to have more options then the other RTS out there that were simple spamfests that ended in 25-30 minutes. I also think that the game is really not that complex. I hear many
Hi, so I've played a few online games in the beta, and clearly the best strategy at this stage of the beat is to pick the TEC rebels and quickly research the tech that allows you to "form an alliance" with the planet militia. Thus, you don't need to kill any rebels and can just run around colonizing every planet in sight without killing ANY militia. It just boils down to sending out colony vessels across the map (which used to be hard because the planet militia would kill

So I see that the modders are (not so) subtlety pushing their (undeserved) sense of superiority through a meme war, very well. A Day in the life of the modders: <
In the in game lobby, when you click on the Magnifying glass to view player info to see someone's Steam Name, the Game name shows up overlapping their Steam name, making it hard to read.
With the (imbalanced) Novalith spam taking a large role in the early stages of the beta, I was quite disappointed to see that while playing Vicious AI in "Capital Victory" mode, as soon as I build Novaliths, and start eliminating players, the AI is still too silly to put Auxiliary government on when they have plenty of money and often times starbases at their homeworld anyways. Also, the new TEC cap is in a weird place on the "left ladder" on the game screen. It is below the placement of the other TEC capital ship icons (if that makes any sense)
