I know where the blinds are. I know where the walls are. I know where all the other various skins are. I've read all the messages. I've posted a few. I've read all the news. I've done it all at breakneck speeds. The shine on this star is starting to dull. Something new is needed to make it sparkle again. Something funky and crazy, uplifting and fun. Something spanzy and chanzy, crabdaboulous and zzlun. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/image
I am from a family of six siblings. All have varying degrees of interest in computers. None as much as me. Every year to 18 months I upgrade. Then I pass along my present PC to one of my siblings. If the PC that sibling has is still in good condition and is better(faster) than one that another one of my siblings has then that is passed along....and so on down the line. It's our own little recycle program. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/joke.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
If you mean in order to apply it to your desktop, you will need the program called WindowBlinds.
No problem GM
GM, If you open WindowBlinds then click on the "Per Applications" then click on the "Show HIdden Exclusions" button, you will see the .exe file for quicken is excluded. It's called qw.exe and I don't think you are supposed to "un" exclude it. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmid
Most of todays hard drives are overkill. Unless you are editing a major motion picture they really are more than most people need. I bought my PC with an 80G drive. I have absolutely everything on it I can possibly think of. I have 55 gigs left. But when I buy my next PC I wager it will have at least a 120G as standard equipment. The salesperson will use this as a great selling point and I wil
Mob mentality will not work. Wait for the admins to take care of it. They are just, and swift.
I have used CorelDraw since version six. All, except for nine, have worked incredibly well for me. I also use it at work along with all the assorted Adobe products. I still think it's easier, on a day to day basis, than Adobe. I must confess though, that being Canadian and living so close to Ottawa (Corel's headquarters), I may be a little biased.
Mormegil, to answer your question, I think the site is running faster, but I can't be sure if you are running faster.
Not to worry mormegil, it is still one of my most recent favorites.
And like that.....it's gone!
It's so big it overpowers the WinCustomize logo above it....We can't have that!!
When they say they get speeds of 28 k/sec they mean a throughput of 28 kilo bits not Kilo bytes . Roughly, if you divide the 28 kilo bits by 8 you will get how many Kilo bytes ....about 3.5, so don't worry, you are in the same speed range. In my case, with high speed ADSL I get 3 mega bits throughput or roughly translated that's about a download speed of 375
There is DesktopX. Look at the 'freeform' style of these 'skins' done by "The_Artist". This is as close as I think you are gonna get. : https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?authorid=956
Look for lots of bells and lots of whistles. Big flashy lights and metally thingies. Huge whirring fans with lots of wires and connectors going nowhere. Make sure that the box it comes in has a big shiney 3D picture and large chrome text. Also, it is extremely important that it has some long, pointless name with lots of letters and numbers in it. And most important of all, make sure you are completely brain dead when you purchase it. Under no circumstances make an intelligent and informed
m...m...m...motion. Yeah! that's it! motion.
And remember, to be a true artist, you have to be dead , or at least you have to cut off your ear....something to show you're really serious about your art.
Now why would you call it "Motion's Video"?
OK, how about your favorite skinners/artists, that have left and then come back. (at least I have a slim chance of making that list)
I think A = Artist and S = Skin, but I could be wrong. You know what you get when you have one artist and two Skins don't you?
Another thing you can do, (and I've done this) is to go to the skin folder, open the bitmap for the border using any graphics editor and cut and paste a little picture inside the border. Then reload the skin.
