i'm pretty certain i read that in one of danmans' posts several pages back.... if not it seemsa as good a reason as any and it may very well be cheaper, but it's a waste of a perfectly servicable ship. that and they're the Traders. they OWN all the money in the universe, why do they care?

please just speak in plain english. using text-short-hand just makes you look childish all the derelict ships are TEC because the TEC put them there when they where imporved upon, which is a bit silly when they could have re-fitted or recycled them

dude all races should be selectable in the normal way. why they aren't i can't guess. have you just pasted all the files into the mod folder, or are they in a "7DS Folder" in the mod folder, because i did that when i first started

whew. several pages later, god this thread moves quickly. i found a bunch of guys at uni with 7DS, and we played a fucking 18hour game, non stop. it was freaking mental. I though it was awesome in big "You Against the World" type maps, but when you team up with 3 guys and go against 4 others, and some AIs it's pretty fucking sweet. i cannot imagine why they didn't think to add this stuff in when they made it! dammit DANMAN, you and your team did a freaking b

bloody hell DANMAN, that was epic, like thingy(sorry io didn't check your name) said you should get that published. i always thought that Humans were created by the ancients once they came to the milky way, using the device they built on D'Karra(sp?) but whatever, it's still awesome so judging by that bit of liturature, there are going to be at least two races for each "Team/Side" with d00ds like the rouges and the Empire thrown in for kicks/good measure.

i suppose you could lift the parts from the micro-ex, which code for the starbases, and their appropriate models and textures and bolt them into 7DS, or is that technicly theft of some type?
