Karma, I just do not like SDC period! From day one in fact! I keep getting login hassles, the upgrades are behind the time line on CM and it tends to want to fight with CM! All the usual solutions have been tried and result in a temporary fix ...today's solution seems to be tomorrow's problem.

GG ... delete SC, it's a pain in the butt! I've never had problems with Component Manager but Stardock Central seems to work to it's own plan .... > 'dipped in chocolate and spanked' .... <img src="http://images.s

The "War" (or should that Police Action?) is far from over, and the "Peace" will be an even harder struggle. No one even knows where Hussein is so far .... and I'll believe the Al-Jazera reports before CNN. Useless but interesting information, Rupert actually pays to use Al-Jazera footage .... which,(Al-Jazera) when it comes down to the crunch, is really just a typical cable news operation. <

BKB ... you're right in that context of course. The "News Story" that came out of Afghanistan early in the operation cracked me up .... "Australian Special Forces Exchange Fire With Taliband" (or something like that!)!!!! If there was any contact the Taliband wouldn't be around to mention it, end of story. > <b

Santos_X13 .... you are an ignorant clod. There are more Australians in Iraq per capita head of population than either of the US or British forces. > If you can't figure that out .... STFU! > Most of the people who discuss the so-called 'Police Action' in Iraq have a decent grasp of who is doing what to whom. <

I did say I was a bit hazy .... never can figure that one out! One 'gallon' should be the same all over, rather like one litre being one litre! Rather like the US 'ton' equalling 1000 pounds when an Imperial 'ton' is 2240 pounds. Didn't much go for metrication when it first was introduced out here but it's really very logical .... <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?C

Average price per litre in Oz is around A$1.00 per litre, depending on the time of the day, week, or holiday periods! > Ballpark numbers, US$00.70 per litre, or US$3.15 per Imperial gallon (round numbers 4.5 litres per gallon) and that's not for premium grade either.......if I remember correctly the 'US Gallon' is around 3.15 litres????? Whatever, Iraq is not being fought over with oil as the number 1

moshi .... I think I had Pinochet(?) on my mind .... no idea why! Fujimori, one very odd dude that one! Nice "WMD" post BTW! Strange pre-occupation this thing with Sarin and 'Mustard Gas', Sarin is WW2 chemistry and Mustard Gas dates back to 1915. paxx, done and dusted. Might be the only way we'

Baker .... my dogs are VERY much part of the family, being hounds we're all just part of the 'pack'. But you won't find better behaved or even tempered mutts than ours ... never shown any sign of aggressive behavior! Then again, Beagles are 'the' superior breed And thank you Mr Schultz (?) for letting us play with your dog ..... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/mad.gif" borde

#77 .... Odd how the 'Peace Protests' and 'Ant War' demonstrations in this country have been so violent! > Very impressed by the 'knowlege' of those participating ... NOT!! crae, 'country xx' is Chile. jam, what's this 'we gunna kick butt' rubbish? 'we' implies your participation ...????? Then again, the US kill ratio of Allied forces and 'own goals' is pretty high, higher than the Iraqis .... <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/index.asp?Cmd=full&Ne

GA .. so do we. The infamous 'In Service Black Humour' is always a relief valve, but 'civilians' would never be amused. As in Vietnam period ...Q. "How can you shoot women and children???" A. "Depends on the range and the crosswind. Sometimes you need to wind off a couple of clicks ....!" But the 'kiddies' who have never been there and done that need a good reality check. > <BR

OC ....the more things change the more they stay the same. As for the 'kick-arse' posts .... take your medication and stop eating junk food! > If you've never been 1) 'Under Fire' or 2) taken some metal on board your person then you have no idea of how unpleasant the whole business of warfare really is. Look back to the end of WW1 and the early '20s ..... MILLIONS of people died as a result of an 'Influenza' epidemic. The so-called 'Spanish Flu'. No reason why it couldn't happen again. Ms. Delicious, ask for some tests to be done for CFS (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) as SARS is only a short term infection and you would seem to have been ill for far too long. As for the Health System .... I can't comment or I'll get myself exiled!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/

paxx, I noted a very interesting thought recently. While many people think in terms of black and white, the world is full of grey tones .... but if you add more white to the grey you still only get more grey .... a bit obtuse but it bears thought! Jam, there is no such thing as "friendly fire" .... it still kills who ever gets hit. ><img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/mad.gif" bord

"Believe nothing, trust nobody". And how about a big 10/10 for the grunts who rescued "GI Jane"...... well planned and executed. Coalition armoured forces are reported (NOT by Fox, CNN or similar dweebs!) to have reached the outskirts of Baghdad, notably the major airport .... stay tuned. Oops!! Forgot that my freedom of speech is not allowed! Now I'm in it! <img src="http://images.stardo
