It was great. Really. It featured George Eads right? How could it not be great? Or at least pretty to look at!

I’m a meat lover and all but man if I was eating at the time while watching this show, I most certainly would have hurled! I know! I know, I know! It was really, really gross, but a good episode as always. I sometimes watch Fear Factor and the eating stunts always make me gag, but this was...something e

I have watched the BBC version too, and they are fairly similar, though not quite the same. In truth, it's not so much that they push people to buy expensive clothes, it's that price is not a consideration AT ALL. If you can find a great pair of boots for $20 then more power to you. If they cost $500 then who cares? It's not really your money anyway! The thing is, though, they emphasize teaching you how to find the right clothes for you, but if it's not in your price range then what good is the

Belt=$180 (for a BELT? are they mad??) It took me 24 hours to regain my ability to type after reading this. WTF? I say it again: W. T. F??? I am by no means poor but I can't fathom spending that much on a belt, or any accessory. Here's an outfit for TLC: Sweater: $12.99 Tar

Everybody has it. The internet is the future. Why deny your kids the future? Everybody does not have it. I just moved into a new, as yet uncompleted subdivision and not everone is able to get access to the types of services they want. We (on my side of the street) cannot get cable. Some people prefer to

Maybe that's why they give out the $5000 credit card! That and the fact that it's all about the fantasy of having $5,000 which draws people to the show! I know I daydream about having a bunch of money to spend indiscriminately. You know I think it's the $3-400 pairs of shoes that really kill me. <img s

What Not to Wear seems to have mixed it's budget up with the one that should be used for Trading Spaces Excellent point! I apparently like any kind of makeover show because I watch both of these shows (and several others) and you are totally right on the money. Yes, pun intended. <img src="http://image

I still find these front-page opinion-pieces (you'd probably call 'em "reporting") amusing This is a blog, not "reporting". I know for a fact he's not trying to be a journalist, just expressing his feelings about this situation.

is there any chance y'all could Normalize the volume levels when mixing the podcast I hear you Lotherius, but the truth is I DO normalize the volume. The way we record, my voice is on one channel (the right channel) and everyone else is on the left. During editing I bring my channel up as high as I can without distortion, and do the s

Sitting on the couch watching tv and practicing self-loathing. Er...perhaps that's not exactly what you meant. How about: -A clean house (but I dislike the part where i have to clean it) -Reading a really good book while the sun shines in the window and keeps me warm (but not too warm) -The discovery of this really good Ben & Jerry's chocolate ice cream

PJ_: I've read some of your other blogs and I feel for you. I think that when a person starts feeling this way (as I have in the past) it's a very difficult situation to get out of. I might suggest that you try to join some kind of club at school to meet people. I don't mean the Glee club or some such - God forbid! Something nice and quiet and sedate. Perhaps volunteering your time, if you have any, at some local charity/shelter. Perhaps getting a some side job on campus. These activities wou

Apparently we have somehow reached #73 on Podnova (see link). Thank you all very much for your support! I am frankly shocked but quite pleased. Of course, I could quite easily be reading this wrong. Maybe it means #73 from the bottom? In any event, thank you all again for your support. It's nice to know a few people are listening! :D

And I was thinking it was just me that was afraid of revealing myself. This is one of the many reasons on the giant pile of why I'm not writing...such a pathetic excuse, though, isn't it? If I don't write I feel bad for not doing it, if I do write I'm revealing too much of myself. Hrm. Must stop analyzing and thinking and just do it. Thanks for yet another well written article Suz.
