:o your idea is cool, just wanted to make sure you know about the esl ladder if you really want to lpay 3v3 teams ;)

Theres a 3v3 demigod ladder on Esl, and only 6 teams are set there so far ( http://www.esl.eu/eu/demigod/3on3/ladder/ ). By the way this sounds interesting, I'll check up if I can find teammates for that.
QOT can get a insane survavibility, but IMHO she is the hardest DG to play. I would not put her in tier 1, but certainly not in last position either. Problem with this DG is that it seems to lack everything : health, speed and mana, dps. On the other hand she's able to pull down buildings faster than other DG (except maybe rook), to stand in most battle using shield and mush, and to stack additionnal bonuses DURING the fight (which is GREAT because not much people take this in
@Shiro_Sol : you are correct, but I did not intend to be aggressive or meprisant toward the OP, sorry if my post sounds like this (you might have noticed that english is not my primary langage, I may not manage to say things as I wish). These times I read more and more messages about the 'demigod community'. And when we say 'demigod community' we only think of the visible part of it, meaning guys that write on forums and some very frustrating players in game. I think ignoring frustrat
Please stop complaining about premades (play in team, too), stop complaining about guys that leave or make the game crash when they have lost : you have win dont you ? so what is the problem ? are you playing to have good stats ? There should not be any stats, things would be simpler. Me too dislike when game does not finish with a proper 'victory' screen, but the guys used a trick to give up the game : you pwned them and they are damned cowards, thats all : they did
@mrappart : sure bramble shield is not as good as heal late game regarding only HPs, but it also protects you from negative buffs that trigger on hit (you are not hit). Situationnaly, this can be a strong advantage. edit : I had a game 3v3 with 2 queens on my side and me as UB, it was an easy win : the 2 queens were shielding the one being focus and the opposing team never manage to get a kill.
I would live to join you guys, but I play 15 hours per day. I cant loose 9 hours with you and then stick alone the 6 remaining. Well, have a good training, demigod should be at WCG around 2015, by then you should have a nice level.
We expect them
Did you provide the developers with the crash dumps, or do you just exspect them to find out the causes of the crashes without any input from you... ? Whenever my DG crashes, I provide stardocks with the minidump so that they atleast get some clues as to what's causing the crashes...
^^ Yes I expect them to find the causes alone. Specially when the game has gone through long beta-testing process and has been
I play only custom games : alt + tab makes the game crashes 100% of the time when I am host and I do alt+tab from the game room (before game is started). Otherwise (if Im not the host) it does only crash during game loading. Big disagreement is that is causes a grey screen with only the windows Taskbar visible and no way to kill the demigod process (taskkiller may work though, but not default task manager that wont displays). I have to close my windows
Why does Elemental need a cool looking world? I've got another answer to that question : if it does not look cool (say, like galciv which was not so fancy) my girlfriend will not play it. And this would make me sad :(
You MUST keep that graphical touch. :) so fresh... It reminds me think of the first days of warcraft3 and TF2 (well it does not look like the same, but it is as original as those two).

Maybe not hundreds of no-input turns, but I'd *really* love to have a hundred years go by with nothing significant happening. Ludicrously large maps deserver ludicrously long timelines.
Well it is 4X strategy, so I can't imagine micromanaging being much of a problem (since its not like there is a time restraint)
sure, the problem is not having some MM to do, the problem is when some tasks become too repetitives and must be done several times in a turn (check cities warehouses for each city, check each caravans will be able to unload all it transport etc...). MM is interesting as long as i
thanks for the answer =) I think I'll have to wait the release then, I rarely buy a game until I've played the demo (moreover when its to do something which is my job) This game looks promising, do a great job !
a lot of good ideads but a huge risk to me : either to much micro requierd OR rely on predefined (and suboptimal) algorithms. The Anno / Colonization resources management looked very painful to me, I would call a 'perfect mix' something with the 'required resource' notion (as in Civilization) and 'available resources per turn' (as in dominions), but caravans/warehouses micro-management... well I'll wait and see. It looks quite simple when exp
a beta without graphs is rather an alpha no ? :) call it a beta primitv ? okay ;) (our customers would not accept a beta with cutted features, but we do enterprise softwares, not games :p) Anyway, you're totally right, the initiative sounds good to me since your primary concern should be the game mechanisms, not the graphics (im sure your cloth map still looks better than dom3 default ones, yet I spend hours on dom3 :D) what are the&n
