Don't make them start an Intervention....

I think that QoT's shield needs a slight re-use timer increase. I was playing up against a good QoT the other night, and I swear all my allies and I did was waste attacks on that darn shield. She had it on her nearly non-stop, and ususally the nearest ally had it as well. Mind you, I was a full damage spec Oak with mage slayer and hungarlings crown, and I still would get in maybe 200 damage on her before the bloody thing was up again. I can tell that it is a vital part of her build, but reall
That is pretty much the same build I use with a few tweaks. One, I ignore the morale upgrades for most of the game, and instead get penitance. The decreased speed and increased damage is a huge help. Also, I tend to go for a more long term approach via equipment. If I can afford it, I go hungarlings crown, godplate, duelists, ashkandor, and the last slot is used for whatever I need, be it speed, more health, or damage. Worked like a charm, 10 kills 2 deaths, and both deaths were as I tried de
I like your spirit assasin build, but the only thing I would change are those points in morale. Crank divine justice up a bit to increase your longevity, and take last stand. Spirits are replaceable...you are not. Besides that, SoF 3 and DJ 3 is simply a wonder to behold. Rember: DJ helps everyone nearby, keeping minions (and grunts) alive, as well as any other DGs in the area.
Oak and Sedna. Oak tanks well, gives mana and HP to *all* allies in the area, and can use Surge of Faith for a quick speed boost. Sedna can take the mana Oak is generating, and turn it into heals, silencing, or stuns. Main point of this is that Oak and Sedna just don't *ever* die.
Cut the man some slack, he has been working on this product for years a pair of know-nothing yahoos decide to start telling everyone who doesn't cover their ears that they know how to make a better game. I would have responded the same way. If you go to Bill Gates and tell him that Macs > PCs, he will thank you for sharing and say GTFO.
I agree with Frogboy on this. Plus, he asks who *keeps* promoting GPGnet. This means you had been doing it for a length of time. Post the whole chat log if you want any sympathy.
I dont use shield, I prefer getting last stand for those points instead. Shield can save you, but it is FAR more satisfying to watch Oak chase down a DG like an angry housewife with a frying pan. Can't out run him, can't kill him, can only pray he doesnt kill you.
Well men, we have encountered the Great Wall of Text. Bring forth the paragraphs to break it down!
I use Oak a fair bit, my current strat works about the same as yours, but minus the emphasis on minions early game. I buy the two cheapest chest plates (that early armor boost is great) and then run for the most helpful flag I can find. Same as you until we get to when to level ward. For me, it always involves priority leveling of ward first, then soul power, then justice. SoF bought at lvl 6 because I tend to be running a mana-less build early game. Hauberk of life helps out, and j
I find that divine justice is an integral part of my oak build. If you want to avoid falling back to the shop, then what is better than a heal and mana for every kill you make? Plus, I read that if you max the spirits / soul power combo, you add something like 200 attack. Plus whatever the spirits do. Also, dead ward at lvl 3-4 gives a 250/500 armor bonus for the area. Very handy for holding the line. I would personally lose a few points in shield, maybe a point out of last stand and get ward
Ehh, I think that penitance is great, but in the long run it just doesnt compare to the power of spirits. Sure, you can hit the target all the way back to base...but your spirits can.
Imho, it would be oak. His infinite supply of spirits keep him dealing out good damage, the enemy distracted, while he heals with divine justice. The more croweded the combat, the better he gets. When the enemy is at the gate, Oak stands firm and sends them packing.
Oak's shield plus HoL is just evil. "Hi, I just became invincible, care to watch my health and mana skyrocket?"
I agree that penitance is a handy skill, but I actually tend to leave it alone. I take raise dead ward first, then soul power, divine justice, and then keep those strong, upgrading surge of faith whenever possible. Excess points go into morale. It seems crazy, but with a few good items you can have spirts clear 1700 health. Not too shabby. Throw in a few idol minions to add more DPS and you have a very effective force. Also, one thing you seem to
Same problem here as well, runs everything else just fine though. What gives?
