Damn, why did my reply appeared in just blank? I meant to answer that I didnt mean a gamepad like a 360 controller gamepad, but an actual analog stick like those from coin-up arcades. I suppose this game is better played with those.

I dont mean if it's possible to use the keyboard, i know it is, but in reality, do you stand a fighting chance against someone playing with a joypad? Both companies are known for having made good games in years before, but not lately. And theyre considered to be past their prime, specially in id's case. Fallout 3 was a good game, just not a fallout game. This acquisition might bring about freshness to both developers' stale ways.

It has been clarified by Carmack himself that both studios id and bethesda will not work together, and either of those studios IPs won't make a cross over to the other one's. Not at least for the near future.

That above only says that they will add the functionality of installing additional content to L4D. Will Valve actually make that content? Or are they hoping the community modders will do it for them. That article doesnt mean much since people were expecting Valve to support the old game by means of releasing professional quality levels, versus camapaigns, additional weapons, enemies etc. Not a bunch of tools for doing such.

Yes, but the problem is that the game shipped in a half finished state, and Valve promised more updates, as well as content for it, without mentioning the final SDK. Now, will they actually keep their promises? It's a big question with the new game on the way. The final SDK is ready, but does that mean that Valve will now rely on the community to come up with the extra content they promised they would make themselves now?
