I have noticed it happening on a few more trees, aside from Magic. If I recall correctly, it occurs when I advance on one limb of the tree, bypassing another limb. Not only does the line connecting the techs disappear, but the number of turns needed to research the bypassed limb disappears as well.

Thanks Gaunathor. I am pretty sure that I started a new game with 1.3, but I might have continued my 1.3 (1.31?) game with the 1.32 update. I am still pretty early in the game (still trying to learn). I still haven't found all four shards and I THINK I know where it is, but I believe I have to defeat the army that is hiding it. Thanks again. I will start a fresh game and see what happens then report back.

As stated in the title. I cannot advance the scenario because my army is too weak to tackle any of the strong armies. I cannot expand my City's borders, so I cannot mine any gold or iron. VERY frustrating. Please advise. Thank you.

With the release of LH, what happens to FE? That is, can I toggle between FE and LH 'modes', or does FE become LH after purchase? I may want to play FE after purchasing LH (I might prefer a certain play style one day and another play style at a different time); will I be able to do so, or will FE as I know it become non-existent after installation of LH?
