Quoting Wizard1956, reply 14 I would imagine getting animated wallpapers to run on Win8 is far easier than replacing the entire shell.......but I could be wrong. good point
Yes, Wiz is right. I understand that everybody having win8 is shivering like a leaf when WB8 are ready. But it definitely needs a time to have all working properly. We - wb skinners - are waiting on how good or bad its gonna be.
How about Milky Power? Nope, that sounds terrible. Sorry mate I thought I gotta a tip but I do not. Anyway nice looking startmenu, lad [e digicons]5*[/e] [e digicons]5*[/e]
Damn, a long way debate as I can see here :D :D Was wondering what I missed in particular. An Urfling? Sometimes I wish I was a halflink :D
Psds or actual skin is all I need to finish things up
If "you" guys can make do with a skin only, it would be awesome then. I have noticed some minor bugs, but anyway I might be able to upload the skin even tonight. [e digicons]:D[/e]
Take your time... and watch out for splinters!
Yay, watch out the splinters he he. From my perspective I don´t wanna get any splinter upon my hands, anyway. The skin is done. Now I need to create a psd pack for folks to do addons. Merry Christmas.
I'm hoping you skin more of the smaller radio buttons and things of that nature so I can finish the Winstep theme for this...it's looking really good.
Thanks mate. I am done with the skin by following what you said here. Radio buttons are nicely done in wood too. I will make up a psd file shortly but not promising to make it before a New Year.
I'm going to give you a tip, Tom. You may have seen a split second painting issue in the start panel when going from normal mode to expanded (recent prog) mode. The graphics "jump" slightly at the bottom of the right hand side just as it expands. Here is the fix: On the right hand side, expanded start menu section, set the bottom text margin to 0 (you have it at 2 px now) I'm writing this here
The fabulous period of the year is on our doorsteps. Let me wish you all a wonderful Christmas and A Happy New Year. May your houses are full of a peace, love and lovely mood. I wish you and yours health and happiness. This year has been demanding for lots of us. To me, I have been facing to both personal and skinning challenges. It has not always been fine but that is a life and all good and bad things coming along with it. &nb
