The devs solved that by giving the rebels a less obvious choice for a theme: sacrifice and rebirth.
That said, I'd still rather see Mass Communion buffed rather then reduced in tier. The culture Rush is the loyalist's thing, I'd rather they diversify the factions by giving culture a different role for the rebels(such as later game culture bombing from heavily fortified border-planets, which would fit Expulsion, wail of the sacrifi

I do not think that new techs will be added just to balance one sub-faction. Each sub-faction gets the same number of unique techs, all of which are shown on the sub-faction tab so a change in the UI would be needed as well. An Advent Rebel buff to SC is something that I would like to see, but there are ways of doing this without adding more techs. If Return of the Fallen could bring back destroyed SC, then this could be very powerful with the right % chance and could have a similar e
Return of the Fallen and Reanimation almost none of these are noticeable and as far as I know they are bugged and not working. But maybe its just me and a lack of oversight, but adding a visual such as a purple cloud and maybe a skull over the revived unit for a few seconds would be a great indicator.
I second this. IRL, seeing destroyed enemy ships being recreated would be very demoralising, so maybe ships that have been recreated through Return of the Fallen should sl
The Rebels on the other hand, perhaps being led by the Anima which are going to be more individualistic by their very nature, are seeking to find what exactly has caused this massive desire for revenge within the Advent. Led by those with very powerful telekinetic abilities and others that manifest as physical outcomes as opposed to the mental communication of the Loyalists, the Rebels are experimenting with more detachment from the Unity. Not willing to pay full price at this point but I'm keeping an eye on it.
This game has recieved several patches already so this free DLC is different in some way. I use Corsevs to capture all the infrastructure of a planet that I conquer so that I do not need to rebuild trade ports, factories etc. A faster cooldown and the ability to target cap ships is a must though.

The sub-factions play very differently apart from the combat abilities of their titan. Only Vasari rebels SBs can phase jump, only Vasari loyalists can destroy planets and become nomadic, one advent faction gets culture without media centres etc. These changes are far reaching and deep. Much more so than having reskinned ships, that would have been a valid complaint. Lore-wise the factions have only just separated and were once united so it is unreasonable to expect them

I think that Advent Orthodox is the best name for the Advent loyalists. For the Vasari loyalists, the name Imperialists does work. Or, the loyalists could be called the Traditionalists because they follow the path that the Vasari Empire has always followed. Vasari Radicals could work for the Vasari rebels because they take a different approach to their predecessors but the Vasari rebels are not more violent so it doesn't completely fit. Instead, the name Vasari Collaborat

Also maybe give them a unique set of bonus's that whn explored adds the bonus both to the moon AND the planet it's supposed to be a moon of? What if moons could function as an auxilery government for their planets? I played the closed beta and have played the pre order beta. The game is extremely good with great depth but it is very punishing to new players. The unit limit prevents games from dragging out for too long but also makes it very difficult to recover from setbacks. I strongly recommend playing WG:EE with a friend only for the first few battles to get a feel for the game and to unlock units.

Wargame:European Escalation looks good and one of the few at E3 that actually has some originality or at the very least didn't imitate other successful franchises. Its a Cold War RTS by the makers of RUSE. All land units have limited fuel and ammo and supply carriers are required to replenish units supplies which need to be protected. Units have different speed and visibility in different terrain and morale is very important. It looks interesting but the incredibly bland title wont help s

This is a great game. I've been playing German artillery. The Grille is excellent, especially with the upgraded gun but the accuracy can be very unreliable sometimes. The grind to the Hummel is taking forever but I can't wait to get a GW Panther or eventually, the GW Tiger with the Mars gun. I have also gone down the TD tree. All I have is a Marder, I havn't played it much. In the beta I had a Hetzer and I loved that thing. My goal is to get the F

It has been stated that: New Factions: Players decide whether to become Loyalists or Rebels, which unlocks a unique new tech tree granting them new technologies and ship variants. So will the current vanilla factions still exist? Does deciding to become Loyalist or Rebel happen before the game (i.e when selecting what map, faction etc.) or will it be possible to start a game as a 'normal' faction and then decide to go rebel or loyalist afterwards? <

Ah I see where you are coming from, I have had no MP issues, nor have my friends so maybe it is just bad luck. The biggest issue seems to be the fact that it is really hard to find anyone to play with. I also have found the AI to be better than any previous TW game. The AI protects it's general, covers its flanks and helps out its allies. I have also found them to avoid suicidal wars. Hollywood and authenticity are practically antonyms so you can't equate period music an

Napoleon was great, but this is even better. Shogun 2 looks beautiful and the campaign AI is consistent. I am in the middle of a Date campaign, I am at war with 2 smaller clans, they decided to become allies against me. It is extremely immersive, battle speeches are in Japanese with subtitles, the soundtrack is great. Sieges and naval battles have been reworked and are a lot of fun. Definitely worth buying.

I bought this a week ago and I am very impressed. Its extremely addictive and the AI is better than I expected. It adapts to what you do. I havn't played multiplayer yet but there is noone in my region anyway.
