I think the separators look odd to you because they're not quite at the same perspective as the background. the angle of the background is different to the separators. As for a name... I'm absolutely rubbish at naming stuff so unless it's excellent ignore it... but would (without the white version included) 'Face of Darkness' or 'Neo Coals' do? I think it's great... far better than anything I can do. Keep it up!

Jim have you seen the Xion skIn? Take a look! I'll have to find out which page it's on, only I'm using my mobile phone and the pages take ages to load. And I'm amazed at how quickly you completed the calendar and weather! Well done! (I would give you a thumbs-up but my phone doesn't show the tools.)
