Spent way too long looking for the curse spell, turns out it looks nothing like mass curse (I was expecting a single figure burning with purple flame, or something along those lines; in fact it actually looks more like curse city). On the other hand, I love the new color-coded spell icons :)

My champion and his golem sidekick were recovering the banishing staff. The champion dealt the killing blow to the fire elemental, but was promptly incinerated by the elemental's aura. Here's what happened next: Victory popup, since the golem was still alive Champion injury popup (expected) Champion immobilised in the capital (unexpected) Banishing staff recovered popup, shown over my city Champion being sent to the capital
I was expecting the harridan to be larger, much like the wild ravenous harridan. Currently i can't tell them apart on the battlefield.
I would use gambler's strike only if it was modified by my crit damage multiplier, rather than flat double/triple damage. Why should all my awesome traits and equipment be wasted on a gamble? This has the added benefit of scaling somewhat with level -- the more I buff my champion, the more attractive the upside, keeping the ability useful well into the end game. Another possibility is to also scale the odds of gambler's strike with crit chance, making it something like "deal c
I wanted to check how much critical damage my assassin can deal, but couldn't find it anywhere. Would be good to have it on the unit details page. For example, for Irane in the screenshot, base +1 (assuming double damage for crits, I don't actually know what it is), path of assassin +0.5, vital strike +0.1 / + 0.2 / +0.4, equipment..., total +2.2. And while we are on the topic of missing stats, how about dodge vs. ranged? It should be part of the dodge toolti
A group with attack 36 (12x3) was hit by Sculla's mace, and their attack was reduced to zero. It appears that the -50% (-18 total) penalty was applied to each unit in the group, resulting in (12-18)x3 = 0. Once I got hold of said mace, I was able to do the same to groups of shrills. <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17586863/FallenEnchantress_1335736277
Dispelling a shadow warg (for example) does not also dispel evade that was cast on it. Subsequently dispelling evade results in a confirmation that reads: "Do you want to dispel evade cast on (null)". This would really work better as a single step, ideally with a combined message: "Do you want to dispel shadow warg with evade?"
Can you check if you turned "Smart Player Colors" on at some time?
"Smart player colors" option is indeed on; it would've been on since the start of the game though, as I fiddled with the options before starting a new game and left them untouched since. The colours were fine at the start but changed at some point, possibly after loading a savegame. Unchecking the offending option and reloading the savegame restored origin
At some point during the game, all border colours except my own went crazy. Attached screenshots and save game . <img src="http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17586863/FallenEnchantress_133
At least yours had a sovereign and/or military units.
Can't remember exactly, but i think it was right after a minor tac battle. http://dl.dropbox.com/u/17586863/FallenEnchantress0_86-2012-02-25T00-24-05-733.zip
Unfortunately, when I try to force the FE process to run on the dedicated GPU, I get an immediate crash. Driver upgrade from ASUS stock 285.48 -> 295.73 solved the crash for me. FE still doesn't switch to the dedicated GPU automatically, but I can force it now, and can confirm that problem (1) above (missing sov models) is resolved when running on 610M.
1. Missing 3d models on sov selection screen.
Found out why this was happening: I have an nVidia Optimus-enabled notebook, but for some reason FE does not trigger the dedicated GPU to kick in when it starts up. That's a bug. This means the game is running entirely on the integrated Intel HD3000 GPU (kudos for making it smooth enough on underpowered hardware that I didn't even notice!). I can only assume that the Intel chip is missing t
Just a few graphical glitches I found so far. Fresh install of 0.85 on Win7 64-bit, nVidia GeForce 610M, driver version 8.17.12.8548. 1. Missing 3d models on sov selection screen. 2. String placeholders in the "merchant" trait. Also, this trait was not listed during sov selection above. <img src="http://s8.postimage.org/u8
