Automatic colonisation - please!!! in Galactic Civilizations II Stardock Forums

The one serious disadvantage of this game in comparision with Master of Orion III is that the colony ships appear to have to be shepherded towards colonisable planets. A galatic leader has only so much time and reallly he/she shouldn't have to concern himself with such things. He should be able to launch colony ships which will automatically search for and colonise suitable planets. Please, please, please will some one mod this? Live long and prosper.
