I don't think that money has to be the only thing you give.
I really appreciated it when you helped me with my resume. I'm still looking though. I'm sure I will get the right job at the right time. At least that's what I tell myself so I don't get too discouraged.
Boudica
Gum is good too. Oh and let me plug Tom Nicoli. I didn't use them to quit smoking but his hypnosis CD's are great. http://www.tomnicoli.com/smoking-pkg.shtml But you can't listen to them while you drive. Another good idea is to make a list of things you can do instead of smoking, you're kind of limited when driving, but it helps you distract yourself when you just need something to get at.
So you are a Jewish Budhis monk? I don't get it.
HOw funny! I read that insect eating will be the wave of the future as food prices continue rising. You're cutting edge.
I agree with your philosophy on anticipation. Whenever I am having a particularly tough time, if I have a bit of extra money, I will buy tickets to a show or a concert. Then I always have the thought that, hey next month I'm going to xyz. It really does help me get over the rough spots to have something to look forward to.
The question isn't whether reality exists without perception, but rather what that reality is without perception. What we call reality is really an interaction between mind and environment, but it is not reality itself. To get to reality without perception, we practice zazen.
You see this makes my head want to explode. :SURPRISED:
There is no reality only perception? I just can't wrap my mind around it. First there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is a mountain. I do think being aware and mindful is a good thing though.
My son threw up yesterday. Not fun, not ever but especially not in the hot, hot summer. He seems okay today but I'm watching him. I'm trying to buy a few things for school here and there. I wish I could go do the big shopping trip and get it all done but finances aren't working that way. I got irritated with their dad because he is out buying them unnecessary toys (bribes) when they need shoes and backpacks, clothes and school supplies. It's annoying.
I am horrible at being the tooth fairy too. I forget. I can never find the tooth. My kids always like that because then they think they can use the tooth again. Who thought this whole idea up anyway?
I easily amuse myself (sad, but true).
lol
Sad. I was at their wedding that day, too.
I always think its sad when people split. Even more so when they have been together for so long.
One day you’re all tough and strong and so all about it and then one day turns into another and another and before you realize it your on a slow inevitable slide into infirmary, sickness, and death?
It's sobering isn't it. I would love a week at the beach and wouldn't care if
I don't think Georgians are thinking today is a 'lucky' day.
I know it's horrible and no one even seems to be paying any attention.
I wonder if this act is defined as sex by Democrats. Bills Lewinskies were classified as 'non sexual.' so I wonder how this will play out.
I think sex is defined as sex.
"Man, I'm horny" is my guess.
lol. I think the biggest issue is the fact that he lied repeatedly about it while he was running for President. It's also the thought of "my wife's in remission from cancer so NOW it's okay for me to have an affair". ick.
Internet, a supportive bra, dental floss, toilet paper, and hugs.
good answer, I've been watching family feud. Dental floss is absolutely necessary. I think you're right, I need it. Toilet paper too. I can't imagine not having toilet paper. I was watching Colonial House and it made me realize how much I take these hygeine items for granted. We are so lucky to live now not then.
I just have to admit that currently it
Well now he's admitted it. Edwards did have an affair with that woman. He says he's not the baby daddy. He also says it was when his wife's cancer was in remission. What a prince. What was he thinking? What if he had recieved the nomination? Did he really think this wouldn't come out? Did he learn nothing from Gary Hart? And where was the MSM? I do think
I myself am pushing maximum density and I hate it. I will eat right and exercise, give up my dr. peppers for maybe three whole days and I'm still chunky - lol! I actually am in denial until I see pictures and then there's no denying.
So is today a lucky day? There are lots of weddings and scheduled c-sections today. Eight is a lucky number in chinese numerology. It means wealth and prosperity. So I say why not go with it? Everyone who has employees should give them a raise today. Everyone who has a job should ask for a raise. It's also the first day of the Olympics. Go USA.
I like guided meditations but I'm not disciplined enough to just be. I still need to be directed even in meditation.
That was a wonderful video. I don't know what my cardboard testimony would be. I still feel lost but I'm trying to find my way.
1. Who makes you laugh the hardest? I know tjhis probably meant someone in your personal life but I'm going to say Will Ferrell. I haven't seen Step-brothers yet. 2. What are five things you can't live without? I'm definately learning the difference between needs and wants. I would say the only thing I can't live without would be my spawnlings and a way to take care of them. 3. What is the dumbest thin
1. Who makes you laugh the hardest? 2. What are five things you can't live without? 3. What is the dumbest thing you've ever done? 4. Is there anything you always wanted to do but never did? 5. What is your most beloved personal possession?
Ha...I'm so glad that I'm not the only one dealing with this craziness. In my family, my middle son thinks he is the boss/dad and it drives me crazy. Aren't kids fun? Actually they are but they can wear you out. At least school will be starting soon.
I think unless there is violence in the home that it is better for kids to have an intact family. I think you owe it to your kids to try to heal your marriage. You may want to check out - http://retrouvaille.org/ You have to be careful when you pick a marriage counselor to pick one that is pro-marriage. Oh and you might want to edit this article and add some paragraphs. It makes it much more readable.
When Obama galvenizes people with his speeches, it is a reminder of a distant past when words mattered.
It's rhetoric. It's style over substance. Actions matter more than words.
